Do Not Go!
After an external and internal ultrasound/sonogram, Dr. Michael Demishev comes in (mind you, I am not allowed to get dressed and my PRIMARY care midwife is a lady and I am NOT comfortable with a man there while I'm half naked). He proceeds to do the external wand to "get a better look" shaking my stomach very hard, which my baby didn't like and proceeds to ask the sonogram lady how to work the machine. After he sees what he wants to, I am still not allowed to get dressed or invited into his office to discuss his findings. He comes right out with negativity and insensitivity in a horrible manner stating only what is WRONG and what could potentially happen if the baby is born. Did not say ANYTHING positive nor tell me what was right or "good" on the scans. Then looks at my mother (who I brought with me) and me and says "Do you have any questions?" three times. I'm in shock, as is my mother who has been in the medical field for 30 plus years and dealt with all sorts of doctors.

Dr. Demeshev handled my high risk pregnancy and hospital admission with pregnancy-induced hypertension, resulting in my baby girl delivery at 27 weeks. He also curated ultrasound at 20 weeks and found an unusual and somewhat risky attachment of the umbilical cord to the placenta. As of now, my baby is 11 days old. She is in NICU, doing very well. I'm recovering as well. Dr. Demeshev is very professional and personal at the same time. He is very compassionate too. I highly recommend him!!!
