I saw Dr Assayag for limb lengthening. Overall everything went really well and I'm grateful to him, but I felt that some of the concerns I raised during appointments were belittled and left un-addressed. I understand that he's busy, however, I was happy to talk to his PA or someone else on staff, but he insisted on being the main point of contact always. I also didn't always feel that he was communicating with me whenever he noticed issues with my gait or problematic areas where I had muscle tightness or weakness.

Dr. Assayag is who all doctors should strive to be. Dr. Assayag works to get the job finished and doesn't sugarcoat anything. I had surgery for a delayed or nonunion in my femur and Dr. Assayag really cares about his patients and wants them to get better. I did extensive research over many months about surgery (ad nauseum) because I was concerned about the risks. My analysis showed that Dr. Assayag was the best choice. My analysis proved to be correct. There are a few skilled doctors in this area but he is kind and compassionate along with being talented and highly intelligent. Humility is a strength because it means you are teachable and always willing to expand your knowledge. It is so rare to find that in my experience. I trust my and my family's life with him because he is honest and knows what he is doing. We traveled miles to be treated by him. Angels have wings And Dr assayag has a stethoscope. Thats the only difference between the two.He is the most genuine doctor that I have ever come across in my life and I cannot thank him enough ever. In my opinion. Wrong diagnosis. Had multiple fractures. Wrong equipment provided. Said I was lucky to see him and not PA. But billed for MD appt. Pain was extreme. Multiple new fractures and he appeared to not know what to do. Rude arrogant, and just plain ignorant. Big mistake going to him. Followed up with better MD you can too. Don’t put up with this.

Dr. Assayag is a true professional in every aspect of the word! He was very caring and passionate about my surgical needs. He is very passionate about helping people genuinely. I had a rod in my femur for 10 years and had some concerns about getting it removed, Dr Assayag informed me of what he would be able to provide and how to go about getting the results we wanted. He did the surgery and it was a complete success with no complications. In addition to being an expert he is a very cool and friendly person, very positive and kind.
