Dr. Codd was just an all around nice person. Very knowledgeable as well as relatable. Even with my 16 year old son whom was the patient. I would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone suffering with a shoulder issue.

I evaluated surgeons and their recommendations in 2019 for a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I wanted a surgeon to listen and advise me on my post surgery expectations. Provide an honest assessment, explain the unknowns, risks and options. Rather than getting a cookie cutter script. Dr Codd did just that. He took the time to listen to my expectations, explained in great detail the extent of my tear, unknowns and issues because of age of injury. He is honest and straightforward combined with a friendly and engaging personality putting me and my wife at ease. His surgical skill and knowledge to repair the shoulder were clearly demonstrated as well as his clinical direction for post surgical care and PT. Surgery in early Feb and by summer of 2020 I was enjoying my renewed shoulder strength and mobility. Sept 2024, my right shoulder was diagnosed with a recent torn rotator cuff, a no brainer, have Dr Codd evaluate and repair. I’m now in post op mode. I highly recommend Dr Codd.

Dr. Codd did a shoulder replacement for me and it is feeling great. He kept me informed about what to expect through the whole process and answered any questions I had along the way. I will probably need my other shoulder done at some point and I will be returning to Dr. Codd for that.
