Very Good Surgeon, Very Big God Complex
I got lucky- he did my surgery-I think he probably is the best at doing surgery on a person with a broken femur, and I would not be physically in the shape I am in if it was not for the fact that he did the surgery. I am an RN, I have been a nurse a VERY long time. His bedside manner and demeanor were epically abysmal! His expectations about pain control in someone after major surgery were laughable. When I went to a follow up-he did not ask if I had any questions, he really was dismissive. Would I recommend him? yes...but only because his surgery skills are top in the nation (probably World, to be honest). However, you better have a pain control doctor, because he is NOT going to care about you after surgery. He needs to deflate his ego a little.

EVERY REVIEW PRIOR TO THIS IS GARBAGE
14 months I went to a different Doctor and did so many tests I couldn’t count… he then tells me he’s retiring and find someone else. I consulted my dr friends and Dr Archdeacon was the first name I was given… (7-10) Although there was a 1 year wait but within 3 weeks I was at my first minute. He reviews ALL of my tests and X-Rays, walked in the door, and CORRECTLY diagnosed me.. OSTEOMYELITIS (beyond Rare) and surgically removed the infection which is a multi surgery process. TOTAL SUCCESS AMD FULL RECOVERY. I could run, jump, play w my small child again. MY LIFE TOTALLY CHANGED IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY. (Extra bonus = I arrive early for any appointment and I would be done with my follow ups before the appointment start time) Thx Doc ??????

I had a surgery done with Bart branam about 6 years ago that was done horribly so I asked to see the head of the department archdeacon the guy came in arrogance kept flicking his wrist as if I cared about his rolex because I'm from Indian Hill I can buy 50 of those things then he had the nerve to go get a random X-ray and show it to me and tell me it was mine and that I had no screw or staple in my knee I have been walking around for 6 years wondering why its still swollen and still hurts

Very arrogant and condescending. He became passive aggressive with me to the point it was very uncomfortable. I felt he thought he was in a superior position to proceed to talk to me in a inappropriate way. He continued to display his passive aggressiveness by continuously and rudely shaking my hand...not once, not twice but five times and continued to rub on my back in antagonizing way. He was extremely inappropriate about my personal visit. I need to contact the BBB.

I was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident. 20 broken bones and 10 surgeries. Dr. Archdeacon was amazing. He made myself and my wife aware of the progress I was making and was honest about what to expect in the recovery process. He reached out to doctors across the country to consult and find the best way to care for traumatic injuries I sustained. If not for his care I would not have had the successful recovery I have had.
