Dr. Melissa Beally, MD

My experience with Dr. Beally was very unpleasant. She did not provide all of the services that I requested upon scheduling my appointment because she 'ran out of time' and forgot. I brought up concerns I had to her about my health and she brushed them off and essentially said I looked and seemed fine, and sent me on my way without a prescription or proper medication. She didn't even offer to schedule a follow up appointment. I also overheard her complaining to a nurse in the hallway about not having time to talk with me about my medical needs and concerns because she had another patient to get to. Overall I got the impression that Dr. Beally was overworked, unprepared, and frankly not very personable or professional.

If you’re a fibroid sufferer, your direction will be to take Tylenol and birth control. Don’t even waste your time making an appointment as it’s obvious Dr. Beally isn’t familiar with the pain associated. Fibroids can bring a dark cloud over someone’s quality of life and dismissing their experience worsens those feelings.

I like her. She listened after telling why I left my last doctor and the problems I had. She was able to get approval on meds from insurance company unlike the last doctor. Good bedside manner
