Dr. Sandra Vega, MD

Dr. Vega listened to me and helped me solve my issues! She takes the time to dig into what is going on for you, ask questions you might not think to ask, offer alternatives and follow through to make sure you are recovering! Dr. Vega did my surgery in July of 2024 and it was nice to know I had a knowledgeable and supportive doctor leading my surgery - I would not of wanted to take that surgery without her! She has moved locations a couple times and I would be happy follow her anywhere!

Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Vega, since my previous gyn has retired. She was fantastic! Very compassionate, really listened, very concerned about my concerns. And super gentle and warned me before she did anything. If these are the things that are important to you, then she seems like a great doctor. She was a little late to my appointment, but she apologized and explained she was answering what was supposed to be a fast call from another patient, and then that other patient kept asking more and more questions. This didn't bother me, though—one day I may be that patient on the other end of the phone line, and I want my doctor to really listen and care. I can definitely afford to spend an extra 15-20 minutes in the exam room sometimes if it means great care from a very kind, thoughtful, patient-oriented doctor.

I will never recommend Dr. Vega. Unless you are interested in researching your own lab results and assisting her office correcting your own lab order as well as guessing what your condition is!! DO NOT waist your time. You are just a number in her book. No follow up after four messages left! No compassion! Why be a doctor if you don’t care about truly helping others!
