Dr. Mazyar Malakouti, MD

This was my first colonoscopy so I was a little apprehensive. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and staff were all very caring and extremely friendly. Doctor Malakouti made me feel at ease and answered all questions. He as what a physician should be. I highly recommend Doctor Malakouti and his staff.

I always feel heard and never feel rushed. Dr. Malakouti uses the most up -to-date practices to give me the best treatment.

He is kind and explains things in detail. I recommended it to my husband when he had his gastroscopy because he explained it so kindly during the colonoscopy.

Friendly, caring, professional

I had never met this doctor, but went to him for my colonoscopy. When I came out, there had been a complication with my oxygen rate. Apparently, I scared everybody in the room. He massage my neck until my oxygen rate increased. My husband was very impressed with him! And I was so incredibly impressed with all the personnel at Lone Star, Endoscopy, Southlake.

Incredibly great doctor. He actually takes the time and truly listens to you. They are very prompt and on top of things. I've gotten 'day-of' appointments with extreme ease every time. The whole Staff are beyond wonderful as well. I have never felt slighted by anyone. The nursing staff and office staff are all really friendly and great as well. I highly recommend Dr. Mazyar Malakouti .

My yearly follow up for GERD/Barret’s esophagus. Dr Malakouti was pleasant and I felt was very thorough. I was not rushed with my questions. He also offered suggestions for my next procedure

Dr. Malakouti is an excellent Gastroenterologist. He is professional, knowledgeable, caring, patient, and ready to go the extra mile to help his patients. He takes the time to talk with me and explains everything thoroughly. I am so thankful to be under his care because I know he will do everything possible to make sure I receive the best possible care. TDDC has a Research Department and he collaborates with his colleagues so I can benefit from their combined expertise. I appreciate Dr. Malakouti and his wonderful team!

Good bedside manners. And was easy to understand. He was concerned about my procedure because I had never had one.

At my most recent visit I had some very uncomfortable issues that I was dealing with, one that I was very concerned about. Dr. Malakouti put my mind at ease. He got me scheduled promptly for some diagnostic testing, helped me to understand what was going on, and the treatment I would need to get back to feeling better. He is incredibly kind and patient, and he was very thorough in his explanations. He took the time to answer all of my questions. I think he is a wonderful physician and I highly recommend him. I am very happy to now being established patient of his, and look forward to him helping me with my G.I. health in the future.
