Dr. Matthew Cohen, MD

Pre-printed prep instructions for colonoscopy were incorrect. When I brought it to Cohen's attention, he said I was the only one to EVER have a problem with it so it would not be reviewed or changed. His PA, Carolyn, was just as arrogant. When I asked her if she reviewed the document Cohen asked me to send her, she said it was 'in my file' but was unable/unwilling to give me feedback on it, when she called with the results. I would not go back to them if my life depended on it. She alone handled the intake appointment...didn't meet Cohen until the procedure.

Dr. Cohen is awesome!!! Through the years he has proven himself to be an exceptional Doctor, and a great person too. I highly recommend him.

When I was admitted into the hospital in September I met Dr. Cohen, he was a part of my care team. I have been following up with him for the past 8 months and he has always listened to my concerns and gives me a plan to help resolve the problem. I trust his guidance and opinion. He cares about my all over wellbeing and getting me healthy. When he talks to you he does not talk down to you he explains things in a simple way that is easy to understand. He never rushes you out of the office or makes you feel like you are wasting his time. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a GI to see Dr. Cohen. I seen him at the Jefferson Torresdale office but I would honestly go anywhere to keep him as my doctor. I have recommended a few people to his office and will continue to do so.

At NO time is this against Dr. Cohen. He is very professional and informative. However, he gave me instruction for a colonoscopy and this were the issue begins. I have been trying since 06/27/2018 to get and appointment scheduled and it feels like I have ask to borrow millions of dollars!! No return calls from anyone. I have left several messages with all my information. I feel that this is an urgent appointment coming from a major procedure (cervical carcinoma) patient.

Dr. Matthew Cohen is approachable, down to earth. Comfortable office visits with great recommendations for healthy life. Routine visits and procedures scheduled and done in relaxed mini surgery office with a delightful staff.
