Poor follow up and office staff
Dr Sweeney is good doctor but not good at follow up and her office is far from competent. When I first saw the Dr she prescribed insulin pen injections but forgot to order the needles, after multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the office I had to get my primary care specialist to order the needles from me. The second time I saw her it was decided I needed to start using a insulin pump. The pump did not get ordered post my visit and it took 4 weeks of messages before the pump and CGM was called in. However she failed to call in the insulin. 2 weeks later with her office ignoring phone and portal messages I am being forced to go to a new doctor to get the care needed.

Dr. Mary Ellen Sweeney and her staff were professional and caring. Dr. Sweeney took her time with me and asked lots of questions, etc. she also gave me time to ask any questions I had. I would highly recommend her.
