Wonderful physician
Dr. Rodes is very attentive and never makes you feel silly when you describe what you are experiencing. She is very thorough and will send you to a specialist if needed. I appreciate the way she explains her thoughts on what could be going on. She is by fast one of the best physicians I’ve ever seen.

Relatable, caring, knowledgeable
Dr. Rodes is a teacher at heart. If she doesn’t know immediately how to help, she does research. She is very responsive to portal messages, and teaches me as a patient what to expect, what might be a problem, and recommends specialists when she thinks a problem would be managed best that way. She coordinates with input from these physicians, Physical Therapists and labs for the best outcome for me, her patient.

She listens, she evaluates and does her research
Dr. Mary Rodes is knowledgeable, personable, and listens to what works with you and what does not. I have a fairly complicated medical history, and if nothing seems to work she researches and tries new approaches. For other complicated things,she does not hesitate to recommend specialists, but not in a way that makes it sound dismissive. She has a great memory for history, and I have seen her for 6 years. She is now teaching at Wright State, which I think is wonderful if she passes on her strengths to a new generation of healers.
