Dr. Mary Monaco, DO

I’ve been going to her for a number of years and respect her greatly. She delves in and gets to the heart of the matter. I’ve always felt welcome from the minute I walk in the door. She always dies what is best for me.

I've been seeing Dr. Monaco for about 4 years no. She really knows how to run her own practice professionally. Everyone there is so very kind to me every time I have to go in or if there are any questions on either of our parts. Dr. Monaco is very to the point and no slop. She takes what she does seriously and she takes the extra mile for precautions. She is kind-hearted and is always asking a question about how I am and how life is going. Dr. Mancao had made very many after-hours and personal house calls to check on me after any medical changes, blood drawing or tests that have been done. I would recommend consulting with Dr. Mancaco and her office. It's a very clean facility. -One happy patient

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Monaco for years. One thing I like most about her is when we need her she is so responsive. She will return your call same day. It may not be until late in the evening but she will get back to you. If you need a prescription filled, she is super responsive to that as well. I'm very impressed with her dedication to her patients. It is not easy finding a doctor like her. Having a chronic illness is tough, having a dedicated doctor helps so much.

I have seen her for several years for migraines. Then I developed vertigo. It started when I would lie my head down flat. When I told her, her suggestion was, I wouldn't do that. After a couple of years she finally gave me some exercises to do. It made the vertigo a lot worse. I called to see if this was normal but she was out of town and I was told to go to the ER. I spent all day and $800 for the ER doc to give me a script and he said, I don't know why your doctor didn't do this over the phone

After a very serious health condition double heart attack stroke no oxygen for 18 minutes coded twice a few years later starting having seizures Another neurologist in Joliet couldn't figure out why changed doctors to Dr. Monaco WOW a doctor who finally cared enough to go through all my previousw file and found out why I will always have seizures. She has tried all medications to see what works best and she has done just that. She is VERYknowledge and caring thank you God for her

The staff is very courteous and pleasant. I have been a patient of Dr. Monaco's for 5 years. She has been very thorough with my health issues and have referred me to the appropriate physicians when necessary. She always takes time with me at my appointment and always runs on time. I would highly recommend Dr. Monaco.

This Dr endangered my life with her treatment of my seizures. Despite the fact that I had documented medical evidence at her hosp before admission, & during admission, that I couldn't take Dilantin she asked if I had ever taken it. I explained, yes I had & I couldn't take it because it dangerously lowered my blood pressure. She ordered an IV of it anyway, using a different name for it. When I passed out because of the serious drop in BP her response was I must have a BP prob. she didn't do it
