At a time when I was terrified, before emergency surgery at Martha Jefferson Hospital, Dr. Silverman was clear, conscientious, calming and comforting. It was evident that he is experienced and knowledgeable. Having only had anesthesia before for minor procedures or tests, I was astonished to find that when I was awakened post-surgery, I was not at all groggy. I continued to express my surprise and joy about that fact to all of the staff when I was returned to my room (probably much to their entertainment). I am very grateful for his care and expertise and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Silverman was very kind, caring and professional. He explained his role in my procedure in a way that allowed me to feel completely at ease, despite the fact that I was about to have emergency surgery. I am very glad that he was on the surgical team that treated me at MJH.
