Dr. Hyun Hong, MD

I have seen 4 back specialists in WA and 1 team of doctors in AZ looking for some sort of help. AZ was willing to help but recovery time would take about 5 months in a state that I do not live in and they weren’t sure how much better I would be after replacing my whole spine and no solutions with the lower back. I was about to give up all hopes of any relief then decided to schedule one more consultation with Dr. Hong. He believed he could help. Hearing that brought tears to my eyes, he gave me hope. That was 5 years ago. I’m extremely satisfied! Dr. Hong and his team are very professional and compassionate. He’s extremely knowledgeable, gets to the issue, understands the problem and offers solutions with a series of shots into my spine. He’s brought back a quality to my life that I thought was gone. I highly recommend Dr Hyun Hong with Washington Center for Pain Management.

Pain clinics ONLY Px Suboxen or surgically installed 'pain pumps'He does Not talk to you about your actualy pain, is only concerned with current meds and will evaluate your soon to be Suboxone dose by this. Nothing said about your current probs or future. If you need true care, find a diff clinic. The psychologist you will meet on your *assessment for risk/abuse is great though the rest of the dox are rushed and do Not look at your condition or your pain.

I definitely recommend WA center for Pain Management, I see Dr Hong and Reed. Everyone here has always been very kind and helpful to me. I have complicated med problems that some docs don't want to deal with, but here they weren't intimidated or annoyed by all my stuff, they just acted like it was an interesting challenge. They aren't about quick fixes: it's more about finding a long-term solution. I appreciate that they keep working with me to help me find the best balance of dif treatments.
