In October 2021, I received a total hip replacement. Dr. Marshall P. Allegra is an open caring doctor. He is professional and straight forward but gentle and caring; from the first visit he made me feel as comfortable as one can before deciding to have surgery. He explained the surgery in detail to my husband and myself and explained what to expect after the surgery. The surgery went exactly as expected without any complications. At my post operative visit, he showed the X-ray of my hip replacement, it was picture perfect! The ladies in the office, Karen and Susan, are very professional and caring. When I called with a question for the doctor, they called me back in a timely manner with the answer. Thanks to Dr. Allegra, my normal everyday activities can be done without pain or discomfort. My total hip replacement has changed my life. Dr. Marshall Allegra, as a Physician and Surgeon, is second to none in my book. I highly recommend him to anyone who has problems with his or her hip.

Dr. Allegra was the emergency orthopedist who repaired my fractured kneecap with internal hardware. After a grueling course of therapy and subsequent surgeries to remove the hardware, after almost four years I am done treating with Dr. Allegra. He is a wonderful doctor. Listened to my concerns, asked me "What do you want to do?" at every visit, posed different options for each course of treatment, as well as suggesting a red blood cell procedure to finally heal the injury that was just not getting stronger or healing correctly. I was nervous and asked him "would you recommend this procedure for a family member?" and was given a resounding "yes!" He was not wrong, was best decision I ever made. Everything he told me about my healing and how to care for myself post injury was right on target, and he didn't minimize any of my complaints or concerns, instead always had a suggestion or recommendation for me to consider. I am a 45ish year old male that injured my shoulder many years ago and recently reinjured it. Dr. Allegra was close to my place of work so I went to see him. His bedside manner was just what I needed. Honest straight forward but gentle and caring at the same time. This was my first surgery but he made me feel as comfortable as one can be before their first surgery. He was as professional at my first visit as he was at my last. The staff was very helpful constant smiles supportive and answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was a bother. Fingers crossed that I do not need any other surgeries but if I were to I would definitely want Dr. Allegra to preform it.

Phenomenal surgeon and compassionate Physician I had a same day total knee replacement on April 8, 2019 which has changed my life. I am able to ambulate and have good range of motion. The best part is that 5 years ago my right knee was replaced and has been problematic since. Dr. Allegra was hesitant with doing my left knee because of several complications/possibilities. However, he acknowledged that the knee replacement really was necessary. Having this knee replacement has helped alleviate some of the issues with the other knee. I cannot thank him enough and only wish that I had him 5 years ago. If you are looking for a compassionate doctor and an excellent surgeon look no further. I highly recommend him and he fully explains everything. Today, is May 7 and I continue my exercises at home no physical therapy…1 month AMAZING! I was extremely nervous about having total double knee replacement surgery in November 2018. Dr. Allegra provided all the necessary details and spent as much time with me as I needed in order to make an informed decision. Although he was apprehensive about replacing both knees at one time, he LISTENED to me and I was able to convince him that I would be able to handle it. He has continued to provide a high level of support and direction to help in my healing process. I am fully satisfied.

Dr. Allegra is in fact an excellent surgeon that helped me through a difficult time. A no nonsense, straight to the point Doctor that I would highly recommend. At times, I wish his staff were a bit more proactive. Never the less, I would definitely return for his expertise.

The first time I went to Dr. Allegra was for a trigger finger.. Dr.Allegra came recommended so I called his office got in right away - got a shot in my hand and I was on my way. Four months later it came back. I got a shot in my hand again and I asked him to check my knees - he sent me for X-rays on my knees - the last doctor was scheduling me for knee surgery - he gave me a shot in each knee and sent me on my way. He is efficient, kind and conservative and everything he did worked.

I had Orthoscopic surgery on my knee on Sept 12 2017 . The best part was I didn,t need crutches , meds , or therapy . After surgery I had no pain to a little pain walking . I went to see Dr. Allegra on Sept 19 and was released . Way to go !

I had a much better experience than anticipated. After viewing online videos from people who have had Bicep Repair surgery like I did, I was concerned about the recovery and the level of pain so many people experienced with different doctors. My entire experience with Dr. Allegra and his team was very good and I had a lot less pain than I expected. Everything throughout the process was easy, well orchestrated and was done with compassion.
