Not as great as everyone says
After reading so many stellar reviews about Marlene Moster, I was surprised to have had a very different experience. Moster was cavalier about the condition of my eyes and minimized my concern over losing vision. She tries too hard to be "funny", and then scolded me for feeling scared and anxious. Then, because she was going away on vacation, she foisted me off on a less experienced surgeon to do the surgery.

Dr Moster is the best! She would be successful in anything she choose to do. Thank goodness she chose Ophthalmology. Too, the staff is terrific. In any organization it’s all about the tone at the top. So it doesn’t surprise me that the staff is just like Dr Moster. Perfect!

Dr. Moster is an outstanding glaucoma specialist. She just performed a complicated cataract surgery in my glaucoma eye and I can now see better than I had ever thought possible. I have worked with a number of eye specialists over the years and Dr Moster is by far the best. She's caring, knowledgeable and instills confidence from the start. I highly recommend.

When I first met Dr. Moster, her warm, friendly and yet, theatrical personality made me comforted during a scary time. She is very direct in telling you about your situation, but immediately makes you feel that you are in the best hands. I had (what I felt was) a major eye surgery of a stent drain. Throughout the whole procedure, everyone who worked with Dr. Moster reminded me of how I would be fine because "she's the best". She will not take much of your time during check up visits, BUT if you have questions, you just have to ask. She will give you her undivided attention. I also enjoy watching her celebrate her accomplishments in the work she performed on me. Glad she strives for that perfection!!

Dr. Moster preformed a zen procedure on my right eye last May. The pressure was out of the ball park at 58. The average being 10 to 12 made it clear I required help before I lost my sight. Dr. Moster explained all aspects of this new procedure and in one week she preformed the surgery and it was a complete success. My pressure in my right eye is now 15. My regular eye doctor was very impressed with the result. She is a very talented yet down to earth professional. Her staff was exceptional as well. I would recommend her without reservation.

One of a kind physician. I was a new patient. She spent a lot of time with me explaining everything clearly and I left with a confident plan. She was thoughtful, caring, conservative in her treatment, wise and even had a sense of humor. Lucky to have found her!

Dr. Marlene Moster is the “ QUEEN OF EYES” in our book. She is blessed with skills, knowledge and expertise that save eyesight. My husband has had serious glaucoma issues for many years. When eye drops stop effectively regulating his pressure,he was referred to this amazing, awesomely talented (and fabulous) woman. I do believe that my husband would have gone blind years ago had he not been under her care. She leads a sharp, on-point team-especially Will. Thanks for every visit. Norm&Pam Elliott

We sat in the waiting room for over an hour to see this physician with no notice from staff, no apologies... nothing. Horrible service and do not agree with spending money on this lack of courtesy for patients.
