Dr. Mark Witte, MD

Absolutely pointless. I went to see him at USF and it was an utter waste of time. He barely looked at me or in my ears. If he is burned out, then he should quit. Don’t waste the time and concern of those seeking help. That is cruel. Told me to take Pseudoephedrine which has already been studied as non effective and then left. I am still in pain and still losing my hearing. Do not waste your time.

I was worried about a problem that I have had for a while. Dr Witte was very attentive while I explained everything and had even more questions. I see some reviews that he was not attentive but these were very old reviews. The man I saw was nothing like any of these negative. I know from my own professional career I'd appreciate not being judged on my past mistakes ( that is unless I haven't changed ) . But for those of you reading these reviews: I don't know this man personally, but I can assure you that today in the summer of 2024, he's the ENT you want, whenever you need one. I recommended him to all my family and friends.

Dr. Witte, ENT, was extremely thorough when I saw him yesterday. He spent a lot of time with me looking at my health issues, going back and forth from my ears to my MRI. Also, what I like is he is so professional no chit chat, the most important thing to him was my health. He never made me feel he was in a hurry. The two nurses were extremely nice, Aron and Imorta ( I just butchered their names sorry). I would receive Dr. Witte

He is well-rounded, knowledgeable doctor who knows what he is doing. I strongly recommend him.

Went to see Dr. Witte recently, and was puzzled by how he handled his practice of care. He was extremely rude, arrogant, and was already making assumptions without running tests or asking for my whole history. Not thorough at all! Not sure how he’s not being evaluated by his leadership. He may be numb or burned out. physician that needs a wellness program. Compassion fatigue is showing. USF values and mission is in misalignment with his way of practice. I am concerned for other patients he will see.

Dr. Witte is arrogant, doe NOT listen at all and he interrupts every single thing you TRY to say to him. He has no idea what is going on because he does NOT listen! And when you try to speak to him, he just walks away as if you are not talking. He ignores your calls and messages. Leaves you hanging for days on end. Has such a rudeness about him that makes you dread your follow up visit. He is the worst ENT doctor I have ever seen in my life. Would definitely not recommend if you want a caring doctor that will actually listen to what has been going on with you. Or a doctor that actually cares about your health needs. He should not be in practice!

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Very arrogant and invasive doctor. Does not give a person time to ask questions and has major issues with other doctor. Walks out of room at the end does not say good by or anything. Then nurse comes in with notes. We went else where to another doctor and totally different experience. He is moving to Florida to teach and good riddance. Does not know how to treat people.

He has removed 3 of my kids tonsils and adnoids. I thought he was very nice and did a great job. He can't sit still a kind of distracting but very good at what he does.

First time seeing this doctor ...such a great open and honest Dr. If you are looking for someone who cares but delivers a good honest message and keeps you posted, I would highly recommend him.

I sat at waited to see this doctor for an hour and a half never once did they have the respect to tell me what was going on and I finally had to leave because I wasn't going to get to see him

He was not friendly in his questions or responses to myself and my mother who had health concerns of my child. He discredited me for some information I was sharing and he did correct himself over this error. His general demeanor towards my child who already had some previous painful experiences with other dr.'s with her ear issues was less than helpful in getting my daughter to cooperate with him.
