DO NOT GO TO HIM. For my Septo/Rhinoplasty I was told that if I want the rhinoplasty his fee is 6000. Then the office called me last minute and asked for another 1000 for the operating room since it was a rhinoplasty even though my insurance was covering everything else and the operating room already. My nose looks the same if not worse! and I cant breath at all. I am getting it fixed next week by another surgeon. I have been self conscious now for a year and cant breath. I want my money back!

I had sinus surgery that was suppose to have been done by him, with poor results. Now, 2 years later, I am looking for an ENT to correct it. The septum was not fixed ,and, to make matters worse, my sinuses are too open. I did not see him before the surgery, and have a funny feeling it was the interns who performed the surgery. Now, I get such bad sinus infections that it's affecting my whole body. I've been to neurologist, nuro-opthomologist etc..., and they all say it stems from my nose.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Shikowitz. I was treated with respect and concern about my ear bleeding from a blood clot. He explained everything he was doing while removing this from my inner ear canal and what to expect. I am a high risk patient and had to call the office a couple of days later because of a concern. I was put in touch with his assistant Morgan who was comforting explaining what I was feeling. The doctor and this office were all professional.

The experience was extremely poor. It took 2.5 hours to be called into the exam room. The doctor made no apologies and acted as though it was perfectly acceptable to wait that long. When I explained my syptoms to him he told me those weren't my syptoms because he already corrected that issue. He was very arrogant and acted as though he didn't have time for me.it was a waste of my time to go to him and now I have to pay for absolutely no service and zero care! Office staff was great!!
