Post op visit
Dr. Severtson was very thorough in my post-op visit, as well as my pre-op visits and pre-surgery. He took the time to explain everything in a way that I could understand.

Would not recommend
I was referred to him about a condition regarding my ear that required surgery. He focused too much on issues other than the reason I came during the appointment. He also was not wearing a shirt under his scrubs, leaving his chest exposed in a way that made me incredibly uncomfortable. He was not reassuring or confident in anything regarding my conditions and I left with more questions than I had answers and I left thinking I had something serious. He also recommended at-home treatments that I could not find supplies for in a regular supermarket. He wanted to see an MRI of my head, but I received no calls or responses about it. Two months went by before I decided to see another doctor after his office was very unhelpful and never contacted me about the scans I needed. I even contacted them and they were not helpful at all. My experience with him delayed my care for months. As one of the very few otology specialists in the area, he and his office should pay greater care to patients.

if it wasn't for dr. Higgins referring ,I would not used him, he don't get back to you when he orders tests (mri/ct scan) its been 5 days and the weekend. I guess he expects you to wait till your appointment which is over a month away. I call for three day just for peace of mine, but cant get any responds.

Dr. Severtson is an absolute professional. He came highly recommended for a surgery my son required on is ear. From the first moment we met him, it was apparent that he truly cared about his patients. He always had a smile and was extremely patient with my son's barrage of questions. Over the course of many appointments, he continued to impress us with his attention to detail, calm demeanor and genuine care. I could not recommend a better surgeon, or person, to handle ENT procedures.

Dr. Severtson is amazing. Not only is he a great physician and surgeon, he is extremely friendly and kind. He truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. He always takes the time to explain things in depth. I would recommend him to anyone that was looking for an ENT specialist.
