Very poor bedside manner
Telehealth
I saw this doctor 3 times for epidural injections. He is rude and condescending. At the 1st appoint he injected me with a medication I am very allergic to. I only found that out when I asked what medication was in the injection. I asked him why he do that and he said that it was not enough to cause a reaction. Luckily it didn't, but I felt he should've told me before the 1st injection. If I would've had a reaction, I wouldn't have known the cause! By my 3rd appointment my pain doctor had ordered it to be placed higher in my spine because I was not getting any relief from the position of the previous injections. When I went for my appointment with Dr Lodico, he told me he was going to put the injection in a different spot. I refused and told him to put where my doctor had ordered it. He finally agreed to do it where it was ordered. I will not be returning for other treatment! His disregard for following orders and personal treatment of his patients is truly abhorrent!

I just had a follow up appointment with their office I had epidural shots in my back and they helped but on your follow up u only see the PA she comes in telling me my drug test comes back with a positive cocaine result on it I told the lady i dont drink and do not do any sort of drugs. She argues with me and I ask her if any of my medications could give a positive result on my drug test she says ohhh no I come home and google two of meds and it says two of them can give you a positive result on a drug test. So the stupid PA doesnt know what she is talking about. I emailed their main office and I am waiting to talk to a professional who knows what they are talking about. Its a shame cuz I really liked Dr Lodico too, Everyone in that office was fooling around laughing and giggling when I was waiting to be seen so who knows what kind of people are working in this office.

I was a patient at apm in butler for about a year. I told them day 1, I was trying the medical marijuana because I have had trouble eating & have lost a lot of weight since my double mastectomy. (Please look at my initial assessment) So after paying for the drug swabs for a year & them charging my highmark insurance, they never said a word about the marijuana. It should have always been positive. Have already Informed my insurance of the fraudulent tests they have been paying for.

I saw 'advanced pain medicine' once.. All you can see is a physicians assistant. I was given a script. for a pain medicine, however it was post dated. I called Dr. Office many times, and got no response, ended up in ER, and got nothing because pharmacy reported med. already dispensed . The next day, despite providing the name of my pharmacy medicine went to shady compounding pharmacy, which had my PDMP show that I got medicine at multiple pharmacies. You cannot get an appt. With Dr. L.

Never again! I won't be wasting my medical insurance or a penny more of my cash! Everyone here is correct. I only had 1 appointment and wish I had read these reviews beforehand! There is no one in the office on 12/28/17 and no indication of when the office will reopen! The answering service has no clue. Already got sent a $300 bill for a drug test that I probably agreed to in the paperwork. The P.A. simply stuck the saliva test in my mouth without informing me of what he was doing!

Worse doctor I have ever experienced when I actually did see him. You only saw him when you had an epidural done and you are constantly forced into getting them. They are painful and I cried and had trouble staying still because of they pain and he told me I had psychological problems and that I had to go see his psychiatrist and wouldn’t let me see mine anymore. I’ve worked in healthcare. I’ve never met a doctor who was so uncaring and downright mean. I’ve switched pain clinics.

If I could give 0 stars I would. APM is a joke. They only care about money. I have yet to meet this guy or any doctor actually. The PAs are terrible, they don't listen or care about you at all. I have a very bad back that needs surgery and they told me they don't want me seeing any other doctors besides them (I want to see a neuro surgeon for surgery) and they said they don't want me to go. Worst place to go to.

From the staff, to the physician assistants to the doctors - they are bad! I have been going for over a year and they treat me like bad at EVERY APPOINTMENT. I follow their rules, but they have no clue what meds I am taking and they don't update my medical chart when they MAKE you contact them. You are treated rudely and like you don't matter. They don't seem to have any interest in helping the patient, but you better follow ALL their rules or you are in trouble! Do not go to them!

Dr. Lodico (sr) and his son seem more interested in running their 6 locations than practicing medicine - as a patient you are assigned a PA some of them feel they are the doctor. I've personally had 8 appts. And never have yet met any doctor. The doctors and PA's are not up on the most recent approaches to pain management based on NIH, or various professional literature magazines (JAMA, NE Journal etc) if you are interest in ITP's (pain pumps) this doctor is not in your best interest

Have read the negative reviews. Cannot say enough good things about Dr Mark Lodico. Staff has been very helpful and courteous. I have worked in the healthcare field for 40 years. Dr. L primarily does procedures. Hence, he is very, very good with doing injections. Main thing you want to look for in a physician. How many of whatever have they done? That's how they become experts. Have had several epidural injections. Excellent result. I question what the negative review pts were looking for.

You see him once then get pawned off on physician's assistants who don't listen and don't relay the information to the doctor. There isn't always a doctor there to sign prescriptions or orders for lab tests. Your appointment time is flexible. They called and confirmed my 10 appointment for 10:30. When I got there I was on the list for 11 without being told. Then I waited 1 1/2 hours after that to get 5 minutes with an assistant. It's always freezing. I don't recommend this place.

Rarely see the doctor, Physicians assistants do most of the work, Times there was not a doctor in the office to sign scripts. So fast paced they run you right through with out listening. Prepare yourself for drug reaction from the FDA approved for back pain med? VODOO Don't worry no one will answer the nurses line. Did not get a injection for three months after starting. Seems to me that they cherry pick the patients they can milk. If you have complex problems go elsewhere.

Rude, doesn't listen to what you have to say. Would enter room and rattle off issues. Was never in the exam room for more that 5 minutes. He is the head of APM, and he a real doozie. He speaks over you in a very condescending manner. If he feels you did something wrong he scolds you as if you were a child. He has NO time for rebuttal! I've only seen him a few times in the past 3 years! Thank goodness, he's a horrible physician! Would recommend APM and Dr. LoDico to anyone!!!!!
