A waste of time. This guy is a joke. Didn't help!
Dr. Lesher doesn't treat you at all. Went through the motions but did absolutely Nothing. Did Not get any treatment and had to spend more money & time to see a Real Doctor. Don't waste your time with this idiot!

Be forewarned. He's a bad imitation of a doctor.
I'm a retired RN and I know a little about patient care.

Top Doc for Lasik
Dr. Lesher was able to give me 20/20 vision via lasik back in 1999. I had seen numerous doctors in Ca and NM and they all told me they could correct my vision to what most people come in to correct their vision from. To this day I still don’t require corrective lenses. Dr. Lesher is truly gifted in his field. I plan to see him soon as I am now in my late 60’s and think I have a cataract. I will always trust and recommend Dr. Lesher. He is excellent!

I would never recommend this doctor. He's not only full of himself, he doesn't listen or care. He "performed cataract surgery on both eyes and they are worse than before he touched them. I paid an extra $5000 to get lenses that correct near and far sightedness. He left a piece of fiber between my eye and the lens. The second lens had a "wrinkle " in it. He intends to fix it. I will go to another doctor instead.

Too rushed to get thru appt
His communication is not the best. He seemed very rushed and in a hurry to get thru my appt. My appt had been rescheduled due to Dr Lesher not going to be in the office the day of my previously scheduled appt, so they fit me in a few days later. But it felt that to me that they were just fitting me in an already crowded schedule. Very disappointed in my appt!

He was kind and reassuring re cataract surgery on my left eye. A previous surgery with a surgeon in my hometown Las Cruces was aborted due to an allergic reaction. 10 days after Dr. Lesher's surgery which included a toric lens my astigmatism is gone and I am seeing more clearly than ever and can now drive without prescription glasses. My Las Cruces optometrist who I saw for the second post-op (the first was in Albuquerque the day after the operation) was very impressed with the results.

Dr. Lesher performed both of my cataract surgeries and another procedure before that. He always listened at appointments and treated me (not just my eyes) so well about that procedure. He explained all I needed to know about the 2 surgeries, which gave me such great vision. I recommend him to anyone needing cataract surgery.

I had my lasik surgery done as did my husband 20 years ago by Dr. Lescher. He did such an amazing job that ophthalmologists that I have seen since are always in awe and ask me who did my lasik. I live in Philly and many of them know of him by reputation. He consulted with me and took my concerns into consideration, and because I was 40 and my husband 38, left one eye slighty nearsighted for both of us, to delay the time when we would need reading glasses. 20 years later, we finally have to use them, long after our peers have had to. I cannot imagine why anyone would complain about the procedure, the cost, or the doctor. What is your eyesight worth to you?

Dr. Lesher was very dismissive to my discomfort and condition. When I went on to explain symptoms I was having, he was disinterested and spent little time listening or explaining what I could expect from treatment. I would not recommend Dr. Lesher to anyone suffering from an eye condition.

Dr. Lesher has very poor communication abilities. I had different issues that happen after my surgeries. He was dismissive towards my complications. I decided not to go back to him to get them resolved. As far as the clinic, because of its size, it is impersonal and I felt like being on a production line.
