Medical Paternalist, and Disregards Veracity
During a second visit with Dr. Emery, he proved to me by his own showing that, in hindsight, he was a medical paternalist who did not value veracity, saw himself on a pedestal, lived on his laurels, practiced censorship, was a bioethicist, did not value human dignity unless it was on his own accord maybe lest he had made errors of omissions during the 1st appointment, and on vague instructions in the visit summary and notes for two prescriptions not stated in person. He was unwilling to take responsibility for omissions, and he did not want to end incongruence in communication. As a result, I fairly and justly decided it was best for safety to discharge him. First visit he, after he had finished describing a then future septum and torbanites surgery, said that he "was going to want me to use a Salen nasal rinse. In the order he stated, this implied he meant post-surgery. However, he hadn't said that he was prescribing it. He only wrote it in notes without beginning & ending time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Emery's for many years. I find that regardless of what my medical issue is, he listens to me and actually hears what I have to say. I see him treat his patients with kindness, from the children I see in the waiting room to the geriatric like myself. I highly recommend Dr. Emery

I was referred to Dr. Emery by a friend. I was so impressed with his ability to explain things to me in a manner that was so understandable. He was very approachable and took time to listen and answer all of my questions (I had a list of them). He was very informative and courteous. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

After a lifetime of chronic ear and sinus infections and numerous ENT Drs., I became a patient of Dr Emery's 17 years ago. He has performed several surgical procedures which have greatly improved my health and almost eliminated the antibiotics which I had been on at least 3 or 4 times a year. He and his staff have always gone above and beyond when I've needed to get in quickly. They are all professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and I know I'm in good hands there.

Dr E is a very kind and compassionate doctor. He took his time with me and explained everything so that I could understand everything. He has treated my two children for ear infections and tonsil surgery. I even had my mom see her for dizziness. Highly recommended!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Emery's for many years. I find that regardless of what my medical issue is, he listens to me and actually hears what I have to say. He spends extra time with me if I need it, even when I know he is busy. I see him treat his patients with kindness, from the children I see in the waiting room to the geriatric like myself. I trust his opinion and I trust him to refer me to other specialists if the need arises. I highly recommend Dr. Emery

I saw Dr Emery for sinus problems and a blocked nose. I have had the problem for many years and have seen many different doctors. Dr Emery explained every thing well and answered all my questions. In the end I decided to have surgery. I couldn't be happier with my results. My sinus headaches and drainage are much better now. I can breath better than I ever have. Thanks to Dr. Emery and his amazing staff for being so understanding and providing such great care.

Dr. E. was nice for the first few minutes of my exam. At the end, when he found nothing to treat, he was extremely rude. He said he did not know why I was sent there, since my condition wasn't his area of expertise. Then, he gave me a quick summary of what he just told me was NOT HIS SPECIALTY. He stated a very serious and scary conclusion, which was ABSOLUTELY WRONG! My new Dr. was very surprised and also disappointed that a professional would be so mean and ignorant. RUDE GUY!! NO GOOD!!

Dr Emery fixed my deviated septum by obstructing the other side, so now I can barely breath from that nostril, does not produce boogers, and seems to constantly drip. I was told in order to get it fixed, I would have to have another surgery and pay another copay & deductible. Total waste of money. If I could take back having it done, I would have never gone under the knife! The least he could have done was check to see if he was causing new problems.
