First visit the other day. I was very pleased. He is very easy to talk to and very good at explaining things. Great listener and makes you feel comfortable. I didn't feel rushed at all and felt very confident about his knowledge and ability.

horrible experience
2 procedures-1 involved a stent. went for follow up to have stent removed. was left in stirrups with small cloth to cover myself for over 45 minutes, door was cracked open and staff was wandering around. When dr came in was told 'sorry we're not removing it' it was removed at my insistence. When I stated I had questions, he sat at his desk and was watching clock on his phone. This was after I was told with no urgency probably have kidney cancer or bladder cancer,. I had neither. Never in my adult life have i had such a horrid experience with any medical personal.

He almost killed me and I say this with truth.
I had serious Prostate issues and I researched to find what I thought was a good Urologist, only to be highly disappointed.I had numerous procedures that did not produce positive results and would eventually almost cost me my life.I never received an apology from this so called Urologist. Each time he brought me in and scheduled a procedure, there were no positive results. I was in pain for almost two years.I constantly had blood clots and there were many days of pain and discomfort.Fortunately, there was a nother Urologist that stepped up and I am certain, saved my life.I still suffer as a result of Dr. Mark Anderson's incompetent or just lack of care for certain patients.

Failed Surgery suffered with bad pain
I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with Dr. Mark Anderson from Sentara Medical Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia. After undergoing two physical exams in December 2021 and January 2022, it was determined that I needed immediate surgery. Unfortunately, the surgery performed by Dr. Mark Anderson in February 2022 was an utter failure, leaving me in excruciating pain and causing severe medical complications that have scarred my body both physically and mentally. The pain I have endured since the surgery is beyond what any painkiller can alleviate. The suffering and distress I have experienced as a result of Dr. Mark Anderson’s incompetence have had a profound impact on my mental well-being. I have sunk into a deep depression, and my anxiety levels have skyrocketed. It is unfathomable to me that a single surgical procedure, performed by an allegedly skilled professional, could lead to such devastating consequences.
