Thank you Dr Aierstok and team! I was lost trying to find an orthopedic doctor and had two coworkers refer me to his practice. I am so grateful they did. The clinic was easy to get to, staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable throughout the imaging and consultation. I’m looking forward to my follow up with this incredible group of people!

Totally Incorrect Write Up on Visit
Dr. Aierstok did not bother to examine me in the 5 minutes he was in the room. No mention of my X-Rays or MRI, simply that I need to wait until I am worse. I asked for the notes-records of the appointment and the notes were incorrect! Nothing that he wrote was discussed or took place in our 5 minutes. I am not a smoker, and I did not refuse to provide emergency contact info. Unbelievably poor conduct and worse follow-up. Never going back.

Follow up for partial knee replacement
Dr. Aierstok was covering for another orthopedic surgeon. He was patient, answered my many questions in thoughtful and manner and wasn’t in a hurry to move on. It felt like it was as important to him as well as to me that I understood his answers. I like that.

Go somewhere else
Waited 45 minutes for him to breeze in, not apologize, not tell me about my x-rays, tell me it would take another 2 to 3 months to heal, and said he’d write scrip for PT and to wait for it. After another 15 minute wait I gave up. I’ll go to a doctor who cares next time.

Pleasant, adequate experience
I have been having knee pain from sports and went to Dr. Aierstok for scans and an appointment. Either he's worked on his bedside manner or people got him at a bad time because he was very friendly and listened to my concerns. Recommended PT and some exercises to address some issues at the hip and knee. Looking forward to going back.

Excellent
Could not have asked for more personal, compassionate and thoughtful treatment. From the first appointment, through post-op Dr. Aierstok took the time to answer questions, explained every step of the process and was very patient. Replaced my ACL and fixed my meniscus. Excellent surgeon.

One of the worst experiences
He was rude from the second he walked in, hardly spent any time in room & seems like he hates his job , if i did try to say anything, he cuts off and is condescending . not sure why you’re a doctor if you don’t care about the well-being of other people

Listen to the bad reviews!!
Not really sure how he has good reviews or patients for that matter. I read these reviews before going to see him and was still hoping I’d get the better half version of this guy, but sadly, I agree with all of the bad reviews here, and should have listened to them. He seemed not only rude but clueless, yet acted like he knew it all… ? very confusing and annoying interaction to have with someone you think may actually help your pain. He told me everything I already knew & did not listen/care to what I had to say. Don’t ignore the bad reviews like I did

I went to see Dr. Aierstock after twisting an ankle. I felt it should have been getting better by then so I was concerned. He took time to ask questions & explain why certain parts of my leg, ankle & foot were still hurting. He predicted when my ankle would start feeling better & he was right. Would highly recommend.

It was 7 years ago when I first was rushed to see Dr Aierstok for a leg injury and I wouldn't go to any other doctor. He's great. Sat and went through everything with me and when I re-injured it again, was right there to help me get through it again. Even made a special trip to see me at the poughkeepsie office when i wasn't able to drive to the rhinebeck office. I recommend him for all your orthopedic needs.

I searched for a doctor to see online about my chronic injury, and I found that Dr. Aierstock accepted my insurance so I scheduled an appointment and went in with hopes of getting more answers and assistance with my injury. Seems like a nice guy, but does not listen to you, and spends 5 minutes for an appointment I wait a month to schedule. We ordered an MRI, and it turns out Dr. Aierstock didn't give the mri tech the correct directions to get the area of my leg that needed to seen in the mri, so that was a complete waste of my time. He also offered minimal to no help in trying to recommend or find a doctor who could perform the surgery I need. I learned alot from this experience, that you have to find a doctor that actually cares about your situation, and takes the time to make sure you comprehend what is going and/or point you in the right direction. Its disheartening to know/see some health care professionals do not seem to actually care much for their patients well being.

Dr Aierstok was amazing with me and my mom! His bedside manner is wonderful and he did such a great job with my surgery, that I often forget I ever broke my ankle and I had a horrible break! The receptionists and appointment schedulers leave much to be desired, but Aierstok is amazing!

Dr. Aierstock was at best unprofessional and at worst negligent. He was in the room for 5 min at most. He wanted to order an MRI and forgot that I already had one. He asked where I had pain and gave me a few seconds to respond. I needed to explain that I had pain in different areas of my knee when I did different activities. He spoke over me when I tried to explain. He referenced the same MRI that he forgot I had and used it to explain his reasoning that there was nothing structurally wrong with my knee and wanted to test for autoimmune disorders. He didn't explain what the causes and symptoms of any of the disorders were or give me time to ask questions, and just had a nurse give me the labs. During this appointment, he didn't even touch my knee or look at it once. I left and immediately made an appointment in Albany where they saw that my knee is bent 15 degrees out due to a previous dislocation, which Dr. Aierstock would have known about had he bothered to get my medical history.
