I have never been so disappointed in a doctor. Here are the three strikes: 1. Failed to respond to requests from surgeon, patient asked to call her immediately before day of surgery 2. No backup while she was on vacation; requests (calls/emails) from patient and pharmacy for prescription refills ignored for multiple days until doctor returned to office 3. Unnecessary lab orders without properly informing patient of purpose, patient left with extremely high bill for tests unknown. This terrible practice seems to be supported and possibly encouraged by Partners Healthcare I would never recommend to anyone seeking proactive, responsive or considerate care.

Excellent Doctor at a World Class Hospital... Dr Mcdonnell is an excellent endocrinologist. She takes the time to explain everything to you and the best treatment for your diabetes. I will refer my family and friends to her. All around excellent experience at Brigham Diabetes Center.
