A great find.
In the course of trying to determine if there was a hormonal reason behind my tendency to develop kidney stones, which she explained was a bit of a long shot, Dr Pena ordered extensive blood testing, including tests which I had never had done at 70 years of age. One of the tests revealed a potentially serious condition which I am now addressing and which would have gone unaddressed but for Dr Pena's thoroughness.

This was my second visit. All dr Pena seems to be interested in is writing prescriptions for meds and Referring patients to other people and the money! She sent me to a functional med doc. He was a physiatrist. Totally inappropriate for my needs. A total waste of time & money. She also wants me to take medicine with out an analysis of exercise & dietary changes that can be made to lower my A1 c… I lowered it myself and she is still pushing medicine.. And when I had a question & called her she insisted I set up a Telehealth visit to answer ONE question. Disgraceful!! She never made an attempt to get o know me or understand MY needs!
