I met with Dr. Liu for a follow up appt.
Dr. Liu & the team were efficient & thorough. I was anxious about tests that needed review and a clarification of medicines. Dr. Liu was thorough, pleasant, very helpful & reassuring. She answered all my questions and gave me additional information as to understanding both the interaction of medicines as well as future tests. I left the office without the anxiety I had going in. Grateful for all the info and considerate efforts given to me at this appointment.

Lacks Empathy and Professionalism
Dr. Liu is dismissive, demeaning, and shows an arrogance that makes you uncomfortable. She fails to dig deeper into health issues. If it is too “difficult” of a diagnosis, she simply cannot think outside-the-box. Prior to choosing her as your Cardiologist, think twice and then think again several more times.

I was a patient for almost 10 years, since I was 46 yrs old and now I am going to be 56 yrs old this March. I take taking a statin drug very serious, but this doctor did not. I should not just take a statin drug just for a piece of mind. Statin drugs have serious side effects such as liver damage. I am now going to visit a well known cardiologist that does not give out drugs like candy. Also, it is a good idea for a doctor to check your cholesterol first before just blurting out taking any drug!

I went for an exam. Told doctor about my concerns. Asked for a script for a calcium test so I can help decide if I should go on statins. Went for test. Was expecting the doctor to complete my consult and contact me with test results. That didn’t happen. I got a very confusing call from a nurse. She asked me if I had questions on my results. I said I was waiting for my results. She gave me my results. Was not happy the doctor didn’t finish our consult and get back to me.
