Dr. Marc Phillpotts, MD

Dr. Phillpotts took his time to hear me explain my symptoms. He listened carefully and examined me thoroughly. He took time to explain the likely causes of my symptoms and the various treatments available to me. He immediately laid out a treatment plan and I look forward to going back.

Have to say, I entered my apppointment a bit stressed about my situtation but left knowing I was in very good hands. This was my first interaction with Dr. Phillpotts and could not have been more impressed - very thorough and answered all my questions (I had a lot!) Highly recommend

Dr. Phillpotts is a very down to earth, affable, caring, smiling, culturally sensitive, highly attuned to his patient's experience, and remarkably unassuming person. One feels seen, heard, and deeply respected in his presence. Amazing soul!

He was rude and condescending from the minute he walked in. He didn't want to even listen to me or hear a thing that I had to say. He knows nothing about me and slapped an improper diagnosis on me. That completely contradicts the last doctor that I had who have seen for 20 years. Who gave me amazing care. He didnt even do a proper exam..he knew what he wanted to slap on me as a label. There is no care or concern. His misdiagnosis and inability to hear his patients is a danger. He left me in tears after dehumanizing me. Go see someone else.

Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised. It’s been a long time since a doctor sat down and really listened to me without rushing me through the appointment. Dr. Philpots was amazing. This was my first appointment and It’s unfortunate to hear he is leaving next month. He was thorough in his examination and really explained everything, to make sure I understood what my conditions are and types of treatments available to me.

He is great I hate that he is leaving

I have been going to Dr Phillpotts for several years, and I am very pleased with the care he is giving me. He listens to my concerns and always gives me informative, caring treatment. He has definitely helped me in improving my health, and I can't thank him enough. Great doctor who is highly professional. You will be glad to have him as your Specialist too.

Dr. Philpotts is one of the best specialists I’ve seen since moving here from Georgia 8 years ago. He listens attentively and always thoroughly explains what’s going on. He’s open to questions and is extremely relatable.

Dr. Phillpotts is one of the most kind, gentle, attentive, efficient thoughtful and thorough Dr. I have encountered in my 80 years. When I went to get the blood test he ordered, the clinic told me that Dr. Phillpotts and his staff of other Dr. always run a lot of blood work to be sure to see exactly what the problem may be. While sitting in the office waiting to get called in to see Dr. Phillpots, the lady sitting next to me was raving praises on another Dr. in the same office. Southland Arthiritis is the only place I will go for my skeletal needs.

He is incapable of treating patients with dignity and respect. He had no idea about condition and basically abandoned my last visit. He refused to call me for my appointment that was scheduled 20 days before and was a telephone call. He never reviewed my blood work. Negligence is an understatement !

Phillpotts isn’t someone who should be seeing patients. He has no bedside manner and never even did a basic examination or bothered to ask how I was feeling. His incompetence is almost equivalent to his horrible attitude towards patients. I’ve noticed this is prevalent on every single review regarding Phillpotts. It’s hard to even call him s doctor because you don’t get to witness any care, help or experience whatsoever from this person.

This man is not caring and will not listen. As on par with the GW Medical system, it's nearly impossible to get a hold of him. Even so, when I left a message saying I had an urgent medical need, it took him several days to contact me back. This medical need turned into a hospital visit. He was in shock that I was in the hospital and couldn't wrap his head around it, even though I explained everything clearly to him. Avoid seeing this man at all costs if you want to get healthy. He treats his patients in a one-size-fits-all approach.
