Dr. Amal Mehta, MD

Dr. Amal Mehta is the most compassionate and caring doctor I've ever seen. He treats me with so much respect and makes me feel like I'm important and my health matters. He always talks to me, not at me. I know my lupus won't win with him on my side. The staff are always very nice and patient with everyone and are always so helpful. With all my health issues, I always feel like everything is crazy, except when I'm dealing with Dr. Mehta and his office. Thank you Dr Mehta for helping me live!

Dr. Mehta is a wonderful doctor. The people who left one-star reviews must be generally negative. I've been seeing Dr. Mehta for over ten years, and I've never once encountered anything except careful attention and compassion. He takes his time, answers all of my questions and concerns and never pushes me to toward treatments that I don't want. When I ask general questions, he is well-informed about the latest research and always human, patient, and professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Mehta for 3 years now. He was able to diagnois my condition by my second visit and had me on a course of treatment immediately. Within 2 weeks my pain was managed. Can't say enough about this caring Dr. Can't say the same for his front desk staff (horrible). His nurses are great. Have recommended several friends to him.

Remarkable intuitive caring doctor. He listens carefully and always considers the best for his patients. Wait time about 14 minutes at most. See him in Hemet. Love the staff. I trust him completely without any reservations

Dr Mehta was the 1st of the many Rheumatics doctors that I have seen over the past 20 years to actually know the treatment I needed and he did that on my 1st visit to his office. He has treated me with kindness and successfully for the past few years. He is professional but with a friendly demeanor and I recommend him highly. I only left his practice as I had to relocate to MA for personal reasons.

My husband and I are extremely happy that we have found such a caring practice. The entire staff is helpful, friendly, and kind in dealing with my health issues. I have recommended Dr. Metha to several of my friends and family members. Also, I would like like to commend Lisa Garcia for her excellent care.

This doctor has no clue what his office staff is doing behind his back! So incompetent and rude, they lie about appointments that were never made. The doctor was great in the beginning but over the past months has declined in his service. Brought my husband to witness. By far...the worst experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Mehta for 3 years now, he refuses to manage the pain of my Arthritis. I am suffering and he just does not care. He kept me on the same medication for over a year and watched my health decline to the point where I'm almost wheel chair bound. I'm changing doctor's.

I called about a month ago to schedule my appt w/Dr. Mehta & I settled for my appt on 3/10. On 3/9, I get a voicemail from one of his staff members stating that they have to cancel my appointment because my insurance went inactive. I was @ work when they called. I called back to confirm my insurance (2 hrs later) they said my appt. was already taken by another patient. I NOW have to wait until 4/21. This is very unprofessional as I had to rearrange my entire March schedule just for this appt.

Dr Mehta is amazing! Such a sweet caring Dr. Feel very lucky to have found him! Very attentive and always explains everything. Very knowledgeable and a trustworthy Dr. He really does care and wants what is best for his patients.
