Great Vist
My experience was very satisfying. Dr. Chalaby was a referral by one of the other doctors at the clinic. He referred me to Dr. Chalaby due to his knowledge on specific lung and auto-immune illnesses. I found Dr. Chalaby very personable and easy to talk to. He listens well and proceeded to provide his assessment and feedback of my concerns by suggesting a treatment plan.

Emergency Cardiac/Pulmonology Hospital Stay
I am a past Respiratory/Pulmonology Medical Device sales professional. I have nearly 40 years experience in all areas of medical sales. Dr. Chalalby was assigned to me after I was admitted to the hospital suffering from congestive heart failure after I developed a tear in my aortic valve. I was aware my valve was failing and had made an appointment with my cardiologist 6 weeks prior, but was unable to get an appointment till 9 weeks later, after the New Year. I was taken to the Hospital ER, ( not the one I preferred) due to a backlog of emergency admissions at my preferred University System. After a week in the ICU, I was still unable to breathe without assistance on my own due to excessive fluid retention. My cardiologist at St. Lukes was suggesting I would receive needed valve surgery in two more weeks due to lack of staff and holiday schedules. Dr Chalaby intervened, spoke to my care team at University, and arranged for a transport that day…. Dr. Chalaby saved my life!

I was referred to Dr. Chalaby by another physician. While our visit was brief, I found him to be a good listener with a compassionate bedside manner. He allowed me to talk about my concerns and perceived needs without displaying a judgmental demeanor. His office staff was courteous and efficient. A very pleasant experience.

Office personnel are always polite and professional. Never in the waiting room more than 5 min; although, sometimes I'm in the examining room for a while. But the wait is well-worth-it. Doctor Chalaby is always up-beat, he takes his time with you and listens very closely to what you have to say. Always offers recommendations, or suggestions, and explains your current status/test results and explains issues you should be aware of or watching out for. One of the best doctors I've known.
