Dr. Madonna Tomani, MD

I love how comfortable I feel talking with Dr Tomani - she’s delightful!She is compassionate and considerate. Makes me laugh … but takes me seriously! Very punctual, which is also appreciated! And a fellow Buffalo Bills fan . The perfect pairing !

She has great staff, a beautiful office... but what rot! The method of doctoring is clearly one of stoking fear and selling you security. 'Oh no! It looks like you have x condition! Let me order 1500000 expensive tests because if I don't, you might die!' and 'Oh, do you want to feel young again? Here are these magic pellets we stick into your butt that should fix every imagined ailment you could have!'Rule #1: if your doctor refuses to listen to your complaints and focuses on other imaginary ailments that need expensive treatments... it's a quack!

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Tomani and her team. The MDVIP service is wonderful - and I spoke to Dr. Tomani about her desire to change to more of a concierge practice. She felt that she wasn't spending enough time to get to know her patients because of the way medicine has changed to be more of a commodity than a relationship between patient and provider. She has been so thorough and has done preventative testing that I have never done at other practices. She always takes time to answer questions and to get to know me. Her team is amazing - they genuinely care about me as a person and a patient and I couldn't be more thankful to have found this practice!

Same day or next day appointments. Competent, educated staff. Providers who treat patients like humans rather than a number.

Dr. Tomani is down to earth, compassionate and caring. She is one in a million and I am honored to be her patient. Never have I had so much trust in a Doctor. She is spot on in diagnosing my issues.

I've been a patient for several years for annual exams, however in the past few years all appointments have felt very rushed, and if I had a question/concern there was an extra charge per question. She tried to sell me a 'pellet' treatment, and after getting a second opinion (and doing my own research), it did not seem to me to be a safe or appropriate option. I did have a total hysterectomy in 2017, and while I'm grateful for the surgery, it seems to me that she is more concerned about rushing through her day and optimizing any additional funding from patients. She is now changing her practice to require an annual fee (over $1000 per year!), with the premise of now being able to provide appropriate testing, labs, etc. But, that's something that should be done anyway without paying a huge annual fee. I've already obtained a new OB/GYN.

Before I made my appointment I read a few of the reviews. I decided to take a chance and if I didn’t like it I could stay where I was at. My appointment was in a reasonable time frame. I am so glad I took that chance and not listen to what some of the reviews said! The service was the best I have received in a long time. I was greeted with a very polite receptionist to the questions I had for the dr were answered. If you feel as though your dr is rushing you out the door, you may need a change. I highly recommend this office

I'm post-menopausal and have been seeing Dr. Tomani for about 10 yrs for HRT. During visits, her efforts to be friendly and interested in me personally never felt sincere and visits were always rushed. At one visit, I was left waiting in the exam room for over 10 min. while right outside the door, she and some of her staff talked and laughed with a mom who was visiting with her new baby. Last year when I expressed concern about being on HRT for over 5 yrs, she brushed off my concerns, then recommended a new service she provides, BioTe (expensive and not covered by insurance). A HR pellet is compounded according to each patient's specific needs and the doctor implants it under the skin. My research into this treatment and its founder, Dr. Gary Donovitz, was disturbing. It's never been proven to be safe and effective, he'd been professionally disciplined for false advertising, and his compounding plant was cited for unsafe practices by the FDA. I'm looking for a new doctor.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! Donna the office manager is rude - & condescending, she personally promised to call me back the next day for an urgent matter and then went on vacation and called me 2 weeks later! Julie, the receptionist tried to charge me under the wrong insurance policy & bullied & harassed & yelled at me in front of other people in the waiting room telling me I was wrong, when I wasn’t. All the while refusing to schedule a very urgent and needed ultrasound that the Dr. ordered for the next day, until I admitted she was right - that ultrasound was never scheduled, no one called to make sure or to apologize for Julie’s rude and uncalled for behavior to a patient. I had to call my insurance company, from my car, in the heat and have them talk to Julie and set her straight. Madonna did a surgery on me that I now don’t trust she did the right way. They care more about the vendors they promote and get $ from than the patients. Always rushed & malpractice actions all around! DON’T go!!

At my last annual the NP was so chatty she almost forgot my pap, rushed it, and botched it -not enough material. No one called me to reschedule, or ever mentioned it . Then the biller gave me wrong information about insurance coverage, leading me to choose IUD instead of sterilization. Multiple people (but NOT the doctor) tried to get the IUD in, and failed: perhaps because of the polyp the NP had mysteriously missed a month earlier... Then they billed me. I complained and they dropped me.

I have been going to this office for 4 years now and never had any problems. Friendly staff, knowledgeable providers. The results are easy to find on My Patient Portal. I am also glad that the office added so many more services as Medi Spa. Big plus!!

Dr Tomani is an amazing doctor who caught 2 serious problems that I had. She always listens to me, never makes me feel she is rushing through the visit.

Horrible experience with this doctor and her office during my first pregnancy. I don't recommend this practice at all! I had complications when I was six months pregnant that were ignored for a month by this doctor. As a result, I was rushed to Highland Hospital. Also, my daughter had to be born via C-section, because there was no fluid and she was breach, which this doctor missed and said everything was fine. My daughter ended up with hip displasia. Please beware of this office!!!

Her office billed my insurance company incorrectly causing service that should have been covered to not be. I tried to contact them to fix the issue several times and I was ignored. I received bills from them for over a year and was eventually contacted by a debt collector who harassed and threatened me.

I had my 1st ultrasound today at Madonna OBGYN. I met with Irena, she was so pleasant and knowledgble. Explained everything and answered all my questions. Made be feel so comfortable. :)

Don't let the nice interior fool you. I have been to the office for medical visits and not received calls about serious results which needed procedures to take care of. I can't believe this kind of thing could really happen, especially more than once. I get the feeling only money is important to this group. I also have been in the waiting area waiting to be seen, and listened to almost the entire staff sit there and trash talk about another patient, extremely unprofessional

Pretty office, awful staff especially Donna. Wouldnt call ins. co. to request and early refill on Depo that was not being used as a birth control method. Was told they dont do that or fill out the FML as there were times that my blood level was dangerously low and I was not able to drive being ordered and monitored by my primary. ER visit confirmed hemorrhaging was told I was being admitted and having a transfusion. Dr. decided to send me home and keep my Friday appt. D&C worked for 2 weeks.

I have searched for years, or avoided for years, hunting for a good obgyn. Since February I have become a patient of Dr Tomani and met a lot of her staff in both the Brighton office as well as Geneseo. I have had a number of visits along with surgery. I can't say enough good things about this practice!!! Everyone Is so kind and makes me feel so comfortable. Dr Tomani's care and patience and the time she spends with you is superb. I even had to see a nurse practioner and was just as pleased!!!

The office itself is very beautiful and nicely decorated. The first time I met with the doctor she rushed through my exam and in total only spent five minutes with me. She didn't ask me any questions about my life and the whole appointment was not personal. I asked her a health related questions and she charges me an extra hundred dollars because we discussed. Even with discussing the issue she still only spent less than five minutes with me. The office also closes very early, 3:30pm.

Love the staff & love Madonna! She's so down to earth, enjoys talking with her patients...I wouldn't go any where else!
