The worse doctor, rude, ignorante and should not be a doctor at all, he walk out the room while I wa stalking to him, the fact that this guy it’s even a doctor still is just beyond.

Lack of concern for patients
I am shocked that Alocozy is still allowed to practice medicine. His refusal to authorize tests based on symptoms is legendary (I was his patient for years) and rumor has it several people have died after years of complaints for symptoms that to other doctors were possible signs of cancer. My own brother was defecating blood for almost two years and requested colonoscopies but was told that "he was probably just nervous and had an unhealthy diet and besides 45 is too young for anything serious". After two years of bleeding I convinced my brother to come to my doctor's office who then expressed shock and dismay that tests weren't authorized. Within two weeks colon cancer was confirmed, scans then showed it has spread outside the colon and resulted in years of emergency radiation and chemotherapy and surgery to remove much of the colon and surrounding tissue and lymph nodes. My brother's port is still in his chest he has to wear diapers now and we are still keeping our fingers crossed.

In my life, at 71, I have had many primary care physicians. In that context, I rate Dr. Alocozy #1. He spends time with me, not appearing rushed, explains lab results in the context of my health, and is attentive to my needs for odd prescriptions (I travel to malarial areas and occasionally need a prescription for an anti-malarial....In this regard, he KNOWS tropical medicine)

I am a former R.N. I am very happy with the care I receive from Dr. Alocozy. He always takes time to answer any questions and explains things in an understandable way. He is appropriately cautious with recommendations, explaining risks and benefits, but has referred me out when needed. I recommend him highly.

I'm very happy with Dr. Alocozy. He communicates well and easily. He takes the time to explain and to answer questions. I am an older patient with the usual problems. His treatment has been effective and he is able to show me graphs illustrating that fact, based on blood work. I'm highly confident in the actions he has prescribed for me because I see that they are working. I can feel the difference.

Dr. Alocozy spends time with his patients, I have not had a bad experience with my office visits. The issue I have is his staff, not customer oriented at all. If you have any specific needs from the staff, be prepared for absolute frustration. If you are referred, it will be your responsibility to find the referral. Some may prefer this, but if your knowledge is limited in the area, you will be disappointed. The technology is also limited, not even e-mail!

The front office is the most unprofessional office I have ever experienced, the equipment is out of date and sometimes doesn't work (avoid an EKG if possible and ask for a referral since that's what you'll end up having to get anyways), they communicate poorly with the health insurance provider and somehow manage to use 3 year old insurance information, (don't ask me how the front office managed that one. Pure idiocy), and overall just a very poor doctors office. Avoid at all cost.

Patient Disgusted in Rancho Cordova, CA – Dec 02, 2016

My experience has been awful! I called this clinic to schedule an urgent appointment because I dislocated my jaw, I was scheduled days out and informed the office that I will not show if I go to ER. I ended up going to ER and got dismissed for not showing. I came to talk to the office manager and got cursed out and told to leave or the police would be called due to them not liking me calling their office unprofessional! They also dismissed my father due to not making a f/u because of his work.
