Expertise!
Dr Sobrin has expertise in my rare genetic eye condition. My local retina specialist had never heard of the condition and made no effort to learn. I met with Dr Sobrin who explained everything professionally and I never felt rushed. She was kind and respectful in addition to being really knowledgeable.

Absolutely
After I was informed that I had Uveitis/Birdshot I saw a physician In Florida and had very positive feelings about my care. After I told him that at some point I would be returning to Boston he told me that is where he studied under Dr. Lucia Sobrin and told me"she taught me everything I know!". What an introduction. I saw the Dr. last Friday and knew there was an angel on my shoulder! I feel blessed.

Dr Sobrin and her staff were professional and organized.The visit went smoothly and in a timely fashion ,considering the amount of testing done during these visits. However I thought that the vision test should have been done with a machine and not a hand held vision blocker.The hand held device is more affected by human frailty ie.a shaking hand, etc. while holding it, thus creating a greater chance for an inaccurate reading.

being treated for chronic Scleritis, Dr. Sobrin has worked to control and stop the progression of this disease. I am very happy and pleased with her practice. She's timely, communicative and personable, while be a consummate professional. I've been treated for almost 30 years for these conditions and she is one of the top doctors I've dealt with.
