Vitrectomy
The one visit before the surgery no eye inspection except for the typical eye view. Then the surgery center where no one had a mask on except for in the operating room. Next day after the surgery the eye patch on my right eye was taken off, and I could not see anything. My eye pressure was 5. Dr. Lowery looks in my eye and asked me if I was on blood thinners in a blaming way, I told him I was on nothing. Put the patch back on my eye and sent me home for my two hour drive. Was totally blind for the next six weeks in my right eye. No one from the surgery center or Dr. Lowerys office ever called. Went to a local retina surgeon in my area. Had various eye tests and was told I had a lot of blood in my eye. Had eye surgery three days later, and the following day the eye patch was taken off and I could see 75%. Within the next three weeks I have full eyesight back. The surgery center and the doctors office called me to see how I was doing. I would never go back to Dr. Lowery again….

This was my first visit to Dr. King’s office. The staff was very friendly and informative. The technology of being able to take pictures of the inside of the eyes is amazing. Dr. King was able to show me these images and explained to me what was going in my left eye. I would definitely recommend Dr. King.

Dr. King and his staff are very efficient and caring which makes for a very pleasant experience for his patients. There is never a long wait and the staff performs all their duties with efficiency. Dr. King puts you at ease and explains all the procedures carefully. I'd highly recommend his practice.

There are no words to praise Dr King enough!! So caring, with such a warm, calming demeanor. His staff, both in the office, and the surgery center is outstanding in every way. My vision was so cloudy, and with a Vitrectomy in each eye, along with a retinal peel, my vision is completely clear! Such a miracle! I will always recommend him to anyone. I would highly recommend Dr. King. After a very bad outcome of a previous macular hole repair by another physician Dr King was recommended. He has exceeded all my expectations. He is very proficient in his field and I would recommend him highly. My latest surgery was a total success thanks to his high level of proficiency and top notch care. His staff are so professional and caring as well. I am so grateful to him for my successful outcome and will continue to turn to him for future treatment.

Best doctor I have ever seen in my life. Extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. Wonderful staff creates a calm and pleasant atmosphere. In addition to Dr. King saving my sight, I have always been treated with grace and dignity. I am happy to give him my highest recommendation.
