Dr. Keppler took time to fully explain my condition and answered all my questions. He was informative and very thorough, explaining the surgery I needed completely to my satisfaction. I have had an excellent result from the surgery, and would highly recommend him. He takes his time and gives excellent one on one explanations.

Doc is First Class
He's very personable , Makes you feel like you're old friends and not just a number on the schedule , He told me what he was going to do and what to expect and it happened exactly like he said it would , You can't ask for more than that ...

I would most definitely recommend Dr. Keppler!
Dr Keppler has been my Orthopedic doctor for the past 8 years and he is outstanding! Tons of experience, extremely knowledgeable, very caring, and great at his craft. He performed both of my knee replacement surgeries and I was extremely pleased with the results. I've had no knee issues since the surgeries were performed and the scars on both knees from the surgeries is hardly noticeable. If you're looking for a fantastic orthopedic doctor, Dr. Louis Keppler is your guy!

Poor communication from both Dr. Keppler and staff
Dr. Keppler is aloof. He spent little time with me and spoke to me from across the office. He explained very little to me about the procedure I needed and offered no details as to how long I would be unable to walk, move around freely, and the like. His staff is rude and were of no assistance to me. He rests on his laurels and I was very disappointed in him. My surgery was two days away and I heard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from him or his staff. I was very uncomfortable with this total lack of communication and CANCELLED MY SURGERY. I called to leave a message two days before surgery and NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I would never recommend Dr. Keppler to anyone. I expected far better from a doctor who is so highly regarded. BEWARE!

I went in today to see him about doing surgery on my right shoulder for a blown out rotator cuff. And he was more worried about my psoriasis and things that did NOT pertain to the reason I was there. I waisted my gas and time to see him and for what nothing so I am seeking a second opinion, his demeanor I didnt care for, first he wanted to do rehab then it went to putting me under and stretching my arm and shoulder out and tearing my rotator cuff even more and not repairing or replacing it. He really isnt even worth one star I say in the office for over an hour to see him and didnt leave the office til almost 1 pm ugh what a waist of time

I have been a patient of Dr Keppler at least a decade, he's done several spine surgeries in which I'm very happy, In my opinion he is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the State of Ohio however, last October I had a total knee replacement which has for the past 6-7 months been making these grinding popping, just weird noises that should not be now as of today and I'd say the past 3 months I have been noticing some some fluid build up in the knee joint, there is also swelling and uncomfortable pain associated with this. I had another knee replacement surgery scheduled for 3/3/20 and due to circumstances out of my control I was not able to make it not was I able to call to inform him of this, I have been trying for months to get in to see him for the knee replacement he already had done regarding issues I'm having and was told and I quote "we had to cancel your appointment as Dr Kepplers legal team advised him not to see me" I asked for a referral and he would not even do that..

Dr Keppler is the best Orthopedic Surgeon, I have had major problems with my back for the last 20 years.. I had one surgeon in the area where I live botch up my back, I wasn't getting better in fact worse, just about to the point I couldn't walk. When my insurance changed where I was able to pick my Dr. I chose Dr. Keppler, he was highly recommended. I am glad I was referred to him it took many surgeries to correct the issue. It is corrected and I am able to walk without any problems.

Dr. Kepler performed extensive back surgery on me in May 2015 at St Vincent. Bone from my hip, fusion, rods and pins. I have had consistent pain before and after the surgery until I had another back surgery done eight weeks ago at Lutheran Hospital by Dr. Orr. Immediately upon standing after the procedure I could stand up perfectly straight with no pain except in the incision itself! I thank God for Dr Orr and being pain-free so soon after surgery! Do your homework before selecting a doctor

I wouldn't be walking if it weren't for his talent. I had a very long and complicated back surgery. 7 hours, 7 procedures. Other doctors are amazed that I came through it and am doing as well as I am thanks to him.

Terrible experience - went in for 'minor' arthroscopic knee surgery and can barely walk now. Am in constant chronic state of extreme pain all day, every day - and night. 15 months post surgery - Dr. Keppler will not even return my phone calls. Save yourself lifelong pain and see someone else!

I was concerned about a spinal fusion after hearing all the bad stories about it. But the pain had become unmanageable after a work related accident. I was referred to Dr.Keppler by my physical therapist when symptoms didn't lighten up. Dr.Keppler performed an anterior spinal fusion at L5-S1 in February of 2015 and I feel so much better now. Nerves regenerating is still an ongoing process considering the damage was hidden from me by the doctor I was forced to see by my former employer. I may nee
