She was treating me for the wrong cancer. When she would explain something it was in medical terms I did not understand I asked her to put it in simpler terms and she said the same thing she had said prior. I changed doctors and I'm very glad I did. Because that's how I found out that I was being treated for the wrong type of cancer. My tumor markers have dropped by 30 points and I'm feeling so much better.

The diagnosis made by my PCP, surgeon, and pathologist scared me like I've never been frightened before. After my surgery (right hemi-colonectomy), I was referred to Dr. Hemrock for followup care and monitoring. Her positive demeanor and calming manner immediately put me at ease. And everyone in the office seems genuinely concerned for my complete recovery. Even crowded office appointments do not seem to result in uncomfortably long waits. Cancer was the furthest thing from my mind, but Dr. Hemrock has instilled a very positive attitude in me and I'm confident that I've seen the last of it.

I was a little nervous coming to my appointment but Dr Hemrock was very caring, and especially thorough, she answered all my questions and when I left I was at ease about the road I had ahead of me. Looking forward to my follow up. The staff at the House Center is very caring and polite also. I was not waiting in the lobby long at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hemrock for about 4 years. From the moment she enters the exam room, I am greeted with a genuine smile. She is one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. She has a lovely gentle way about her and is gentle while performing an exam. She doesn't rush in and out-she answers all questions.
