I was very impressed with Dr. Dyer. She is confident, knowledgeable and kind. After our pediatrician misdiagnosed my son’s problem I made an appointment with Dr. Dyer because she has an outstanding reputation in the medical community (I am a physician myself.) She did a thorough exam, reviewed all records and previous ultrasounds, and gave a detailed description of the diagnosis, therapy and outcome and spoke on a level that my son could understand. She also spoke to him privately (he’s 16 years old) to see if he had any concerns or questions that he wasn’t comfortable discussing in front of mom. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares about her patients. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Dyer is dangerously overconfident, yet completely uninformed and flat out wrong about treatment plans. She caused irreparable damage to my infant son and later told me she warned me of this being a possibility, which is completely false. Point blank - she should not be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr. Dyer SAVED my son. We thought he would have no left kidney after his surgery but she intervened in his health care and got to the bottom of what was wrong. We had been trying to figure out his issues in Canada for over 8 months and she had him tested and in surgery within 3 months. It's been almost two years now and he has not been sick. His kidneys are also growing and seem to be working as well. This is the best outcome we could have asked for and had we remained in Canada, I don't think he would have been treated in time. The other great thing she does is she sits with you and shows you test and ultrasound results so you have an opportunity to ask questions about the images and anything else that comes to mind. Both my husband and I are so grateful for the amazing care my son received. His health is priceless to us and we can't thank her enough.

My son and I waited over an hour to see Dr Dyer, despite the fact there weren't many patients. Her staff was rude and dismissive, hardly people I'd recommend especially when their job involves caring for children.

Please get a second opinion if you see this doctor. She said my 2 month old son needed surgery because he had a hydrocele (fluid in sac). Her explanation was confusing & lengthy and she said it wouldn't go away on its own but was adamant about operating within 2 weeks. Well, I got a second opinion & the second dr did a sonogram (which dr dyer didn't do) and he said it looks like a closed hydrocele & should go away on its own. Soon enough the bulge disappeared 2wks later! Very upset with dr Dyer.

Dr Dyer operated on my son. The surgery was long and complicated, and though she thought he would need two surgeries she was able to complete the reconstruction in just one surgery. She's highly skilled and was a wonderful person to interact with. His recovery has been smooth and the office very responsive to our questions. Yes the office has longer wait times but I've never seen a surgical office run on time. Surgeons operate in the AM and running late for PM office hours is to be expected

We've heard such wonderful things about Dr Dyer! It's a shame we never got the chance to meet her in person, after 45 min of waiting we decided to leave, the staff could not have cared less...we're disappointed!
