This whole office should get a zero instead of a 1. Office staff was not helpful at all, even to the point where my wife and had to go to the ER because we couldn’t get answers from them. From there she had to be in the hospital for a week. Nobody would call us back when she started having complications despite saying they would.

This provider's horrible. She never listens or takes me seriously. I have Crohn's & everytime I have a flare w/increased bathroom visits her answer is that I'm constipated. I'm very adamant I'm not & have stomach pain associated w/previous Crohn's flares & she dismisses me. She then will send me 2 have an X-ray 2 see if I'm constipated & when it shows I'm not she doesn't do anything further 2 investigate. She has lied & said that a colonoscopy showed no inflammation but the report said I did.

I had been having severe abdominal pains. I scheduled an appt with Dr.Maffei, she recommended I have a colonoscopy. At the early age of 21, I had a colonoscopy and received little information about what was wrong...At first I was told I had IBS from my family doctor. Dr. Maffei informed me that I did not, she didn't find anything wrong. Yet Im still waking up in the middle of the night with excruciating stomach pains and end up using the bathroom and vomiting! There has to be something wrong!

This professional if you can even call her that, treated me very poorly, she put me on the wrong diet and put me on the wrong medication. She did my colonoscopy wrong and I had to go to duke a month later for them to re due the procedure. I would not recommend for anyone to go to this doctor especially if their life counted on it.
