Terrible doctor
Avoid this lady. She has no empathy no care for her patients. She will not listen to your concerns. She pushed me to do a pap when i said i cant i dont have insurance she left the room. She did not diagnose me or ask a single question about my health. Very careless! I paid for the visit out of pocket for nothing.

humiliating. It was a follow up because I had unexplained bleeding between periods. I was anxious about the exam, she was late (and it was an early in the day appointment), and then she didn't expect to examine me at all! I'd already been to the pcp but this visit was just to talk and no one told me that. She had no patience for my anxiety and when she wrote notes about the visit, she was incredibly patronizing. I don't know how someone works in this field and acts like that.

Excellent!
She is confident, knowledgeable, and experienced. She makes me feel comfortable and explains everything in a way that I can understand. She helps me deal with my insurance and also encourages me. She is very accommodating as well and knows what she is doing. 5 star rating without a doubt.

She is terrible! Just god awful! I saw her about 10 years ago and she kept on asking me about my personal life, why wasn’t I married, etc. As she was giving me a Pap smear, she said I smelled strong down there and accused me of sleeping around. She shouldn’t be a doctor at all!

I returned to Chicago in 2008 and searched for female doctor. I ended finding Dr. Oldham through reviews and had to see her several times due to an issue. Ultimately I had surgery and I can say that she is a very thorough doctor who listened to me, explained my situation and took her time with me. She displayed an excellent bedside manner before and after my surgery. So if anyone is looking for a good gynecologist, she is the best.

I’ve been seeing Dr Oldham since I 2013. I have followed her across practices. Dr Oldham is an incredibly smart, hardworking, and talented doctor. Because of this, I’ve always known her to also be pretty booked up. You may think Dr Oldham is rushing with you, but it’s important to know that she tries her hardest to see everyone. I have some issues that cause me a great deal of pain. Dr Oldham can be totaled booked, but if I’m in pain, she’ll find a way to squeeze me in. She’s a great doctor for those needing specialization other long continuation of care. I wouldn’t want to see anyone else. Dr Oldham is always incredibly honest, and always put my body autonomy first. Some might see this as blunt- but I think that honestly is important in health care. I don’t need flowery language- I need to know how to care for my body and how serious something is. I’ll continue seeing her as long as she’s around!

She did not disclose the side effects/long term effects of my birth control. She did not tell me the depo shot can cause acne (I battle with acne and she knew that) and can cause osteoporosis with long term use. Neither of these were ever told to me so I’m very lucky her replacement told me these things when I went in the next time. She’s also very judgmental. Wouldn’t recommend.

I'm 26, and I've had dozens of pelvic exams - mostly from gynecologists rather than internists. During a procedure she diagnosed something based on exam that no provider has ever mentioned to me before. She is very thorough and considers patient comfort. When the procedure proved tricky due to my anatomy, she made another plan, went slowly, and explained everything as she went.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Oldham?
Dr. Oldham spent very little time with me, for all 3 of my appointments. She left so abruptly two times, that I needed to speak a nurse after to make sure I fully understood my diagnosis and prescription. She miss gendered my partner and then brushed of the mistake when I corrected her. I left feeling extremely overwhelmed and significantly less listened too than I have ever experienced with previous doctors.

Very knowledgeable about the field and her practice. Great at explaining things to you as well. Comes off as a bit aggressive, but I believe it's because she is so passionate about the field. All in all, a great doctor! Would recommend.
