Dr. Lisa Bunin, MD

I was having difficulty seeing clearly, even wearing glasses. A friend recommended Dr. Bunin and I was a little hesitant at first, because I just figured I’d need new lens. After the first visit, I realized it would be more involved than that, Cataracts made their presence known. Long story, short, I had my Multifocal Implants and I see more clearly, than I have since 6th Grade. Now, when my husband says to look at something, I can pick it right out. Thank you Dr. Bunin for giving me my life back, that I can appreciate all the things, I couldn’t see before.

My family physician referred me to Dr. Bunin due to having cataracts in both of my eyes. She discussed all my options and explained what to expect. My surgery went well and I can see so clearly. Dr. Bunin and her staff are professional, pleasant and kind and always make me feel comfortable and at ease.

July 2024 Dr. Bunin performed a Ptosis surgery on both of my eyes and 2 weeks later a Blepharoplasty surgery with a Browplexy. The staff in the office are terrific. Explained everything in detail. I was not surprised at any step of the procedures. My outcome for my sight is outstanding!! I had no idea that I looked up all of the time to be able to see and that my peripheral vision was gone. Not having peripheral vision in itself is dangerous. You need that to drive, etc. After the Ptosis surgery, both eyes were open and I could actually now see the sky without looking up. I had a lot of folds on my eye lids. At night, I my eyes used to be so tired as the muscle got weaker and the folds became more of a hood over each eye. After the second procedure, where they removed the part that makes the extra eye folds and hooding over each eye, I could see more clearly. I did not realize that I also was looking at my lower and upper eye lashes every waking moment. Dr. Bunin corrected that and now

I have been seeing Dr. Bunin for several years. Early on, it was for a persistently blocked tear duct and I needed a good ocular surgeon to unblock it. With yearly exams, she caught glaucoma early (before it's treatable, and now to stay on top of it, exams more often) and most recently, did cataract surgeries on both eyes. I see better now than I ever have! She - and by extension her team - is organized and efficient. She is a proficient, highly skilled doctor. She has developed specific protocols based on her experience and, in my experience, when you follow them, you get good results. I find her and her team to be friendly and easy to deal with. They answer questions and provide detailed information on procedures. The staff and medical students are knowledgeable and helpful.

I went to Dr Lisa Bunin with very droopy eyelids and having problems seeing. The staff and the Dr were very nice and helpful. Dr. Bunin did ptosis surgery and upper blepharoplasty on my eyes. I am a month out and my field of vision has improved. Thank you!

She ask if I had any questions. Took time to explain and how to deal with my dry eyes which I had before going to her. She did my cataract surgery in both eyes. I chose the dual lens and have been doing well with both. I only have to use a very light reading glasses I very dimly lit restaurants to read the small print menus. Love z!Isa and her staff. Dr. Bunin performed an upper blepharoplasty on my eyes. The results were transformational. As I walked out of the hospital, I could tell that my field of vision had dramatically improved. 2 months post-surgery, and I am healing well. Dr. Bunin's staff are friendly and professional. I felt prepared for my surgery and supported in my post-surgery care.

Early in 2022 she performed cataract eye surgery on me. Dr. Bunin removed my cataract lenses and replaced them with multifocal intraocular lenses. She also corrected my eyes for astigmatism. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery and became very impressed with the confidence she has in her skills, her professionalism, and the meticulous attention she pays to details. I have been a patient of Dr. Bunin's for many years and was referred to her practice by my parents. She treated both of them while they were living and they were always pleased with her care. I have found Dr. Bunin to be an excellent doctor. She and her staff provide quality care you can trust. For several years she has treated my dry eyes which greatly improved how my eyes felt, especially since I wore RGP contact lenses. Recently Dr. Bunin performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The results are amazing! The entire process and all options were clearly explained to me and with Dr. Bunin's expert guidance I chose IOLs that now allow me to see without glasses (which I had been wearing since grade school). I recommend Dr. Bunin to anyone who wants an excellent doctor and a doctor who really cares about her patients.

Dr Bunin is a highly skilled professional. My office visits have always been thorough and the staff is wonderful. I recently had Eyelid surgery and couldn't be happier. Everything before and after was handled with careful detail I felt I knew what to expect before and after,giving me a huge level of comfort.

Had to pay $$$$ to dr. Bunin when my husbands cataract surgery by other doctor was covered by Medicare. You don’t have to have laser surgery!!

Dr. Bunin was recommended to me by my PCP. She explained to me how my cataracts were progressing and the options available. After extensive testing, I made my decision. Throughout the process, Dr. Bunin and her staff were very supportive. Each surgery was done with unbelievable success. My vision is the best ever. The discomfort was minimal to none. I am back to doing the things I love (crafts, puzzles, and reading). I have my life back. I never realized how much I had started to depend on others, due to the vision loss.
