God’s hands
I can’t thank Dr. Liau enough for the miracle she performed. She completely removed my mom’s brain tumor, and the surgery went so well! Now, three months post-op, my mom is doing great and is almost fully recovered. We’re so grateful for Dr. Liau’s incredible work and the detailed care she gave throughout the entire process. She truly made all the difference for our family.

2 doctor's opinions with a diagnosis of a 2cm glioblastoma and 1 opinion proposed a biopsy to be sure of dignosis. Based on her "good" reputation I decided to work with Dr. Linda Liau. May 23, 2011 Dr. Liau performed brain surgery, removing 2 cm from my left frontal parietal. Told my family she had good new & bad news. Good= it wasn't a glioblastoma; Bad=it was demylination, most likely multiple scleroris. Question: IF DEMYELINATION, WHY DID SHE REMOVE THE FULL 2 cm? There's no benefit, only a detriment. DAY 1 after surgery recovery seemed it was going well. I was up & out of bed, using a walker. DAY 2 late in the day I lost my speach & the use of the right side of my body - neurological side effect of 2cm removal. It took me 4 weeks in rehab and a 18 months to be able function well enough to go to work. Still in pain. Dr. Liau never met with me after surgery while in UCLA, nor did she want to see me for a follow up visit "You don't have cancer, no need to see me". TERRIBLE!

My wife was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiform Cancer. We visited Dr. Liau for a second opinion. She was on time, demonstrated extreme compassion and concern for my wife and ordered a post-op MRI so another member of her team would have the most updated information to help him provide direction for my wife and I. She has become part of our team in Las Vegas as we fight back against this aggressive cancer! She’s the best!!

The best surgeon in my opinion. Dr . Liau spent good amount of time in her clinic explaining expectation and risk of the operation. I was concerned about motor area functions. After surgery no impact as if i did not undergone major surgery. In 3 days, i was released from the hospital , another couple of days, walking in the neighborhood. Dr Liau and her team checked on me few times at the hospital. Dr Lauis expert. I would recommend her to my family and closest friends.

Dr. Linda Liau's professional approach, knowledge, expertise and skill left me with a high grade of confidence at the initial appointment with her. This was proven out with a much quicker turn around time after my right temporal craniotomy and tumor resection and much less discomfort than expected. I would highly recommend her consult in any neurosurgical issues. Dr. Liau, I will never be able to thank you enough for saving my life. It was a miracle. Gratefully yours, Bhagat Singhatia, M.D

Dr. Linda Liau has been my neurosurgeon for the past 5 years. Every year since 2012, I went in for an annual MRI and PET scan. It was December 2017, just 2 weeks before Christmas, when I went in for my annual MRI. My primary doctor ordered the DREADED MRI and I obliged. It was January and I had confirmation that the tumor had grown in size and it had a tail growing in the direction of the brain managing mobility. We immediately scheduled brain surgery for March 20 and I started planning.

Dr. Liau is in my opinion, the best brain surgeon I've ever even heard of, let alone met. And, out of the many, many Doctors I have known, she is at the top as the best. If a person needs her abilities, that person will be WELL taken care of. Her skills in the O.R (or even consultation mtgs) are unsurpassed; on a scale of 1 - 10, she would be a 15. And I do not say that lightly. She is a gift from God for ANY brain tumor patient.
