Dr.Decosimo accepeted me at my trimester when others didn’t or “couldn’t” I was going to (About Women/OBGYN) in Woodbridge and they weren’t tracking my pregnancy right so I wanted to switch Doctors & Decosimo accepted me with no hesitation. I had a C-section and that went excellent. I now have a Year & a half old babygirl strong & healthy.

This my first GYN I went to. I had concerns regarding having irregular periods, without examining me she gave me a diagnosis and started me on birth control. Even when I did not respond well to the birth control and went for a follow up she didn't even examine me. She has a cold bedside manner and always in a rush.

I have had great experiences with Dr. DeCosimo. She is very easy to talk to, listens to your concerns and is very responsive with followups to tests and emails. I was thrilled to find she can do blood work in the office through Quest so I didn't have to make a trip to a Quest facility. I'm very glad to have found her and will recommend her to everyone.

My appointment with Dr. DeCosimo was the worst I've ever had in my life. I came in because of a positive pregnancy test - her staff was unable to correctly administer the same test in her office and her response was that the home test was wrong. When the blood test confirmed the next day they never apologized. When I email her 3 days later saying that I thought I was having a miscarriage, she never responded. She could have cared less; she was cold and impersonal.

Dr. DeCosimo was very friendly when I went to see her after my PCP referred to her but she wasn't a great doctor. She didn't know why I was there, she got confused my lab test result with other pt's result, and the worst part is ... the test that she did, it didn't have adequate sample to run the test but the office charged me for the expensive test and they told me everything was OK. It took me a year to realize that I need to repeat the same test again because the mistake of Dr. D.

After our appointment was set up and confirmed weeks in advance we called to ensure that we provide the relevant information in advance especially the insurance info a we just changed the provider and we don't have actual card. Ans: Just come in, we'll sort it then. Upon visiting we were sent away due to absence of the actual card. We explained again that we've changed the provider and have all the info needed. Their response then, 'We don't have time to call insurance company'. Wasted 3 hours!!

I went to Dr. DeCosimo yesterday for my first visit. It was for my annual, routine care. She was VERY helpful in helping me understand menopause. She is the first doctor I've been to in the past 5 years who agreed with me that the only way to determine if you are actually in menopause is to have my hormone levels checked. I was very appreciative of her no-nonsense demeanor and approach to my concerns.

She is knowledgeable in her field but leaves much to be desired in her bedside manner. She always seems to be in a rush - much like herding cows. She doesn't seem to be a good listener nor does her office seem to be very organized.

I went to Dr DeCosimo with a gyn concern that had been going on for years. She listened and then explained to me what was going on and what my options were. She was respectful of my decision and scheduled me for surgery. Surgery day was a breeze and she did an amazing job. Scaring is almost non existent. Follow up was great. I recommend fully!!

Dr. DeCosimo delivered my daughter 13 years ago & it was an amazing experience. In 2009, we moved out of the area, but upon returning to VA this year, I went to see her for my annual exam. Dr. DeCosimo was just as friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as before. There was minimal wait time, her staff was very professional and the office was clean & comfortable. She had great suggestions for some issues I am dealing with. I would highly recommend her to family & friends.

Her bed side manner was amazing and she was extremely patient and understanding!

I first saw Dr. Decosimo about 2 years ago for menopause symptoms. Her advice at the time seemed to be what she would do , not what was best for me. She seemed to always be in a rush, and her manner was always like she had an answer to your question before you asked. Her response to questions was never timely and I always had to call to get her to respond to my concerns. Maybe my timing was wrong, but I switched to another doctor because the rapport was not there.

Only works 3 days a week.
