She saved my life
In 2011 if not for Dr. Ayala Garcia admitting me for further testing after 2 months of doctors scratching their heads with no idea what was wrong with me she took one look at my labs and the amount of pain and pain meds I was on with no relief she admitted me on the spot for further testing. Thanks to her ordering the Mri’s they finally found I had blood cancer not lupus as they first thought. I will forever be thankful to her, a few more weeks of being undiagnosed and I would have lost my life. Thank you Dr. Ayala for seeing past blood work and truly listening to your patient and making the right call that many doctors including my former primary were unable and unwilling to do since I was “a sleep deprived new mom”, “pain meds seeker” and my favorite”too young to be this sick”. Thank you

not good
"I went a few times and left. She does not look at you, only the labs. Does not listen, and ignored me. She refused to tell me what my lab results meant. She didnt know what the results meant and also performed a test for lupus wrong, so the results I waited months for did not show anything. Would not prescribe anything. Not very knowlegeable, she told me things about lupus that was not true. Says almost nothing, and when asked a question, tells me to ask my primary care doctor.

After seeing the other doctors in her Miami Beach Mt. Sinai Hospital office and being dissatisfied, I learned of Dr. Ayala Garcia and decided to see her. Dr. Ayala Garcia LISTENS and is very nice to her patients, she tried to help me in every way possible and always was available when I requested a last minute appointment. Rheumatology is a difficult specialty and I was grateful that she listened and tried to accommodate and resolve my complaints when others in her office were dismissive and gave up on me. Thank you, Dr. Ayala Garcia!

I had several sports-related injuries to my knee, back, and shoulder I visited Vanguard Rheumatology Partners and Dr. LILLIAM E. AYALA GARCIA, MD which turned out to be a time-wasting joke. The good doctor ordered multiple x-rays and MRIs. She provided the easiest and mot meaningless diagnosis: arthritis. It is what doctors say when they do not understand a problem. She barely looked at me only at the tests. When I offered a more accurate diagnosis based on my medical history. She had no interest at all. She likes looking at tests, not patients. After all those tests she recommended aspirin which I do not take. She should have been an accountant. A healer she is not. Don't waste your time.

She will not see patients with dementia without a family member present but does not the courtesy to tell you that up front.

My experience with Dr. Ayala was the best, I haven't met a physician with the dedication, kindness, patience, and medical interest that Dr. Ayala provided me in many years. She listens and answers each and every one of your questions in detail and still ask you if I understood, she also explains by using normal daily words, not in medical terminology that confuses you and leaves you with more questions. I feel blessed, she was also the only one that listen and took the time to diagnose me.
