I’ve been going to Dr Woodcock since he was in his office near 7th North St. His staff is friendly and caring. The exams have been thorough and when I had my cataracts removed the scheduling was flawless. Only once was my appointment delayed. I was told the patient before me had an emergency and he wanted to stay with her until the ambulance came. (I was impressed!!). Once I called at night when I had strange squiggles in my eye. Dr Woodcock called me back personally, asked me some questions and gave me a simple solution that worked perfectly. I highly recommend this compassionate Dr and his staff.

Terrible scheduling and billing support
There is a very long wait with an archaic scheduling system at this office. Our operation was cancelled and delayed by a month due to a lack of doctor availability for a day. The office failed to contact us to even communicate that the appointment was cancelled. Staff is very matter of fact and not able to handle specific questions. When asked about a specific billing detail they would just say, "that is how we do it and hung up on me."

My only complaint is after my cataracts were done I went for a follow up and waited over an hour for him to see me and in 3 minutes he was done. He does excellent work but even when I talked to an assistant about the wait she said we had emergencies and that put us back. I mentioned maybe 4 openings isn't enough. That's the only complaint is it takes a while to see him, but he does excellent work and being as you probably won't see again, it is worth the wait

My recent visit to Dr. Woodcocks office was delightful. I was so nervous about going to my appointment but the staff was amazing, especially Angie who was my technician, she was calming and reassuring and made me feel comfortable. Thank you so much for a warm welcome and I am looking forward to my next visit.

I had a great experience with Dr. Woodcock and all of his staff. I have been wearing glasses since the age of 3. I’ve seen plenty of Eye Doctors in my lifetime but never one that explained every thing in terminology that I could understand. He was very patient, spent so much time explaining things to me and had such a wonderful bedside manner. I will recommend this Doctor and this practice to everyone.

I agree strongly with the review 2/9/19. It was my experience too. Dr Wood ok may be a good surgeon but his office management at his Liverpool office is very bad. They also seem to overbook there and also have a real disconnect with the surgery center where you go for cateract surgery. Had a surgery appt for 11:30 and not called in until after 2. Had to also wait a long time at follow up appts at his office! I would never go there again.

I am a patient of Dr. Woodcock and have been for many years, unlike many specialty offices that I have walked into that don't remember my name, I am always greeted by name when I walk in to Dr.Woodcocks office. I believe his staff is very knowledgeable, lots of patience and understanding. I would recommend this office to everyone who like to be treated with kindness, respect and good eye care to contact them.

The care from the doctor was excellent. I think some of the staff in the North Medical Center office could be friendlier.

I saw Dr. Woodcock and his staff at North Med recently fir my annual appt. He took the time to answer my endless questions about my eyes. I had a few tests done that day by a staffer, I believe her name was Melissa, she was very patient with me. Thank you the kind service. Syracuse, NY

I called the office because I believed I had scratched my eyeball. The staff was so helpful with finding a time for me THAT day! I was able to see one the other doctors, Dr. Roth. He was very caring and patient as my eye was sore and tearing a lot. I'd will tell my friends about the doctors and staff at north med office, everyone was very helpful. Thank you for caring. John

Prior to having the cataract surgery I was very apprehensive. When speaking with others and relaying Dr. Woodcock was the surgeon, several knew of him or did their treatments/surgery. His reputation with them was excellent and I found out for myself this was true! My experience with the entire staff has been excellent. Just strive to maintain what you do so well for your patients everyday.

He is a great surgeon and does really good work , his office manager at 5100 Buckley is worthless ignorant inefficient and ineffective , she should be fired, just ask her fellow employees to know the truth . Every part of my admin back up to surgery was and still is messed up due in large part to the attitude of this office manager woman who helps nobody !!!!! I will never recommend or use them again and I will be reporting them .

I arrived for my annual exam 20 minutes before my 1:30 appointment and did not see Dr. Woodcock until approximately 3:15. I was through paying and scheduling my next appointment by 3:20, so I spent a total of about 2 minutes with Dr. Woodcock out of the 1:45 that I was there after my scheduled time. My time is valuable too and if it continues to be disrespected, I will find a new eye doctor.
