After going to two other MDs for a group of insidious symptoms and getting NO answers, she found a chronic but easily treated condition ON THE FIRST VISIT. Her clinical assessment skills, attention to detail and bedside manner are wonderful. She is also very friendly/kind. She has now been my doctor for several years since that first visit and I hope she will continue to be my doctor for many more.

Dr. Laplace is a very sweet, caring doctor. She takes as long as is necessary to help you and listen to your concerns and explain her thoughts. The only negative is that she is so good at what she does, it seems like she has a LOT of patients, so it sometimes takes awhile to see her with scheduled appointments, but I had an emergency recently and they took me right in the same day, so that makes up for it in my book.

Love her - she is thorough and never makes you feel as though she is rushing through your appointment. I have recommended her to everyone who asks! And, if you are a regular patient and you have an urgent issue she makes time to work you in her day.

My husband and I both go to Dr. Laplace. Last fall, he had a pain in his side and although it seemed quite minor she sent him to the hospital to be checked. Despite the fact he is an older man and at his age people rarely have trouble with their appendixes, that is what he had. He went immediately into surgery and they took it out that weekend. A good thing!
