Awesome, Dr. Drahota is a bit direct in his bedside manner but personally I like that approach. Don't get me wrong he is very caring but he speaks plainly and explains things that are understandable, and he doesn't give a bunch of medial BS that you might not understand. But what really counts is the work that he does as a surgeon. His work is excellent. If I ever need surgery again and he can perform the work he is at the top of my list of doctors to consult with.

What a ghastly experience I had from Dr. Drahota nurse and from the doctor himself. I cannot believe this man is a doctor and a surgeon. He and his nurse are extremely rude people. I would not recommend this place to my enemies.when I asked the rude nurse if she didn't already have my insurance information she got pissed off and told me to leave her office. So I gladly did who wants to be treated by sits rude people.

Dr. Drahota did an emergency appendectomy. I was very grateful for his fast service and willingness to do it in the evening after hours. He was a great doctor. Seeing him in his office afterwards was very fast. No wait time at all!

Dr. Drahota removed my gall bladder recently. From the first consultation to the follow up, Dr. Drahota was very professional. He answered my questions and took time explaining the process to me. My surgery was very successful. I would recommend him to anyone. Staff was friendly and the office was very clean. I did not have to wait any time with my two office visits.

Dr. Drahota has operated on me in the past for removal of my gallbladder. It proved to be a very difficult case as I had a gallstone stuck in my common bile duct. I have no doubt that Dr. Drahota's supreme surgical skills are what got me through that difficult surgery and recovery. I recently saw him for a thrombosed hemorrhoid. He and his wonderful nurse made what could be a very embarrassing problem seem routine. They were very professional and caring. I trust Dr. Drahota 100%

I have had a couple of procedures with Dr. Drahota and would recommend him to everyone. He has done some great work for me and always been ready to help when I have needed him. Having had over thirty surgeries, I have worked with a lot of different doctors and he is one of the best. He has done three surgeries with multiple procedures in each, should I need his help again. He will get my call!

I was sent to Dr Drahota from the VA. He had me stay in the exam room for over an hour while he went to pick up his son at school. When he returned he only spent less than 5 minutes with me. I contacted the VA about his unprofessional practice. I requested the VA not send any more patients to him.

Very short with me as a patient. He screamed at the receptionists using profanity the morning of my surgery. I was regretting my decision to have surgery by him (gastric sleeve/hiatal hernia repair) after speaking with him. He did not allow anytime for me to ask questions. I was crying and felt very uncomfortable. After care at Blue Valley Surgical has also been poor. I highly regret going to this hospital in Overland Park. Keep looking. There's better choices out there for you!
