Dr. Christopher Cummings, DO

I had some very unusual circumstances with my intestine that required immediate help. I am so thankful Dr. Cummings was the surgeon on call. He did an amazing job and was so caring as I navigated many complications (not related to his work.) Dr. Cummings explained things well and communicated with my family too. After my hospitalization, Dr. Cummings helped me recover safely and relatively quickly. I will always be grateful for all he did for me.

My husband had developed a hematoma after hitting his hip the week prior. It became increasingly more painful and swollen resulting in an ER visit and being told there was nothing that could be done for a hematoma. We were able to see Dr Cummings quickly where he determined surgery would be needed to alleviate pressure. He was able to perform surgery the following day complexly fixing the issue. He listened to our concerns, communicated his plan clearly, and resolved the issue. It was a wonderful experience working with Dr Cummings

Phenomenal! I didn’t think there was Drs still out there like him! He truly cares about his patients either pre consult or after surgery. He has called me at home after my surgery, his staff checked on me in the hospital twice a day! And he talks to patients so you can understand. He spent over 50 minutes talking to my partner and I before he scheduled the surgery. Truly an amazing and outstanding individual.

Dr Cummings is an excellent teacher and was very supportive in guiding me through my health care experience. He answered all my questions . Very friendly and I feel is an expert in his field.

Dr. Cummings is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to explain everything and make sure it is understood. He does his best to accommodate possible scheduling issues that patients may have.

Friendly, courteous and professional! He is very knowledgeable about the procedures he performs. Got me in right away, which was a plus!!!

Dr. Cummings did my surgery. So compassionate and caring! Not only was he great with me, he was just as great with my family and friends that were there with me. He took his time to answer all of our questions and make sure we were comfortable with understanding. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Cummings took the time to listen to me! He even called after I was home to see how I was doing. He is the nicest doctor I have ever met. Also his nurse and office staff were great! They got me in within 24 hours of calling.

Dr. Cummings was referred by a family friend to help me with my hernia. It was easily to make an appointment and he was able to see immediately. He explained everything about what type of hernia I had and how to fix it. He made me feel very confident in the surgical plan. The operation went great! He personally followed up with me after I went home. He is a very caring man. Would recommend him to any of my family members.

Dr. Cummings was great! He really listened when I was describing my problems and let me know exactly what we were going to do. He understood how bad this was impacting my life and seemed genuinely concerned. After surgery I am doing so much better and I think he was as happy as I was! I’m happy I found him.

I was in the hospital and needed my gallbladder out and Dr. Cummings was my surgeon. He was very pleasant and explained everything thoroughly. My recovery was quick and I was very happy with my whole experience. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr. Cummings came highly recommended by two family friends, as he has significant experience in robotic surgery. I found his bedside manner to be charming and informative, as he thoroughly explained all aspects of my care. His office staff were very pleasant at my appointment. My hernia repair went smoothly and I have recovered nicely. I can’t recommend him any higher!

His staff is HORRIBLE!!! JACKS or Jaxs, the receptionist at the front needs to be fired. She is IMMENSELY rude. 4 people from my family called this office in hopes of having Dr. Cummings perform a surgery, but we could not get past her crude, nasty tone to get anything handled. She laughed when I told her my mom couldnt stand and has no energy. She then told me she can always go to the ER. If you work in this field, you need to have empathy and there is always a way to talk to people.
