Dr DeLeve came prepared for my appointment, having read my file and taking notes. Her energy was high and her direct approach very professional and satisfying to me, someone who had been hoping for a "good" doctor. She answered all of my and my husband's questions with thorough and complete answers.

Condescending and Disrespectful
Horrible. She was condescending and rude and acts if she is the only important one. One day it will all come back to her and she will be treated the same by someone else. USC Keck has amazing doctors and she ruins the Hospital's reputations because of how terrible she treats patients who need care. Found amazing doctors in other hospitals. Recommend don't see Dr. Deleve

Yes, the reviews are true
Telehealth
Yes, the reviews about Dr. Deleve are pretty accurate although I will say she's not rude, that's just her personality. She truly feels as if she knows it all but doesn't talk about the latest research or show any interest in the human microbiome and how it affects the body. What she will do is push pills, even without proper testing. It almost seemed like she wanted to find the best diagnosis for prescribing medication. Like others have said on here, I don't know what she's doing at USC. She's basically your typical Kaiser doctor, definitely should not be at a university. Don't waste your time with her.

Worst experience I’ve had with a Dr.
Dr. Deleve was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional during our visit. I went in for a chronic issue and instead of listening to me and getting an understanding of my medical history, she didn’t let me talk and prescribed a medication that didn’t end up working for me. I had to ask her if she was planning to inspect my issue and she begrudgingly said “ok” and then proceeded to tell me to “take my pants off and get on the table” instead of giving me a gown and leaving the room. I had to ask for a cover and for her and her assistant to leave the room so I could change in private. Absolutely worst experience I’ve had with a doctor to date. She belittled how I was feeling, didn’t fully assess my issue, and was unprofessional and rude the entire time.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeLeve for 5 years. She has always shown me the greatest courtesy and has worked with me to find the best solutions to my gastric problems. She is willing to listen to my concerns, discuss different approaches, and explain the reasons for her decisions. Her instructions have been clear and helpful. I have had both an endoscopy and colonoscopy with her, and both procedures went perfectly smoothly. Her support staff at Keck Medicine have always been courteous and supportive. It surprises me to hear negative reviews of her.

I’ve seen Dr DeLeve for all my colonoscopies and she also treated my husband for his medical problems. I disagree completely with the other reviews. I always found her kind, friendly and she and her staff gave me thorough and clear instructions.

Being a patient of Dr. DeLeve was the worst patient-doctor experience of my life. What’s written in the other 1 star reviews lines up with my experience. Dr. DeLeve was rude, condescending, and invalidated many things I said. I never lied to her about my experiences and symptoms but she made it clear that she didn’t believe what I was saying. During one of our appointments Dr. DeLeve shared a self aggrandizing story that had nothing to do with me or my diagnosis, which was a waste of time.

My mom made an appointment with Dr. Laurie to get approved to do a colonoscopy. Once approved they instructed her to fast two days before the procedure. The day of the procedure they asked my mom if she took the liquid she was supposed to drink to clear out her system. My mom didn't..they never made it clear to her that this was needed. My mom then asked if she can take the liquid and come back tomorrow. The Dr. Refused saying it'll be another two months. Unclear instructions on their part.
