Dr. Laura Malfitano, DO

I have been a patient of Dr Malfitano for years. Despite the fact that I don’t see her on a regular basis, I feel completely comfortable and at ease. I’m always confident that she will provide me with the best possible care. I left her office feeling much better about my injury than I had going in. We agreed upon a course of action and I’m confident of a favorable outcome. The entire staff was professional and courteous from the moment I walked into the Forked River Office and everyone I encountered made me feel liked a valued patient.

Was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. Very little wait time and happy with her treatment. Referred to hand therapist for further treatment and was able to get appointment next day. Everyone involved made an unfortunate injury easier to deal with.

I was amazed at how quickly she diagnosed my problem! Very professional, friendly and yes, very knowledgeable.

Dr. Malfitano has a very caring and friendly personality. She takes the time to listen to her patients concerns. Her staff is also very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

Dr. Malfitano was top shelf. Friendly, personable, took time to fully explain bi-lateral Cubital, and Carpal tunnel surgery. End result of surgery outstanding. I highly recommend her!

I was extremely pleased with my visit with Dr, Malifantano. She listened to my concerns and examined my hand. She came up with the diagnosis immediately. We discussed my options as I had another medical concern. The decision was made to take the conservative approach for 2 weeks and see how things go. Then come back and go to the next step if necessary. I was extremely pleased with her and her staff. Friendly, outgoing and very personable. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Malfitano's pleasant friendly personality creates a such a welcoming feeling in the patient, that you want to come back because you just know she's going to get the medical issue solved satisfactorily. No ? about it Dr. Malfitano is a keeper.

Dr. Malfitano was courteous, professional and caring. I left knowing exactly what my issue was and how to move forward.

My first 3 to 4 visits with her in late 2021 and the beginning of 2022, I experienced a definite "doctor to patient" disconnect with this doctor. I tried to help myself communicate better with her during all my visits as I hoped she'd take an honest interest in my chronic De Quervain tenosynovitis condition of my wrist/thumb, but I just felt she had zero bedside manner. My husband came to my last visit, I reluctantly made with her, to see if he'd witness the same unprofessional care in communicating with me as a patient. He did notice, and said that during that visit, he witnessed her acting like I was wasting her time and disliked discussing a means to help me. At the end of that visit, she blurted out, "I could just go in a snip a sheath in your wrist," and then said something like it may or may not help my tenosynovitis in an unpleasant, sarcastic way. A month later I had a successful surgery to correct my condition by a different and compassionate Rothman surgeon.

I had a perfect experience w this group ..they all were welcoming n very professional ..from ease of scheduling to being seen by the doctor n discharged )and everyone in between )..only people w good energy can run such a nice practice..tu

Based on referral from a family member who had surgery by Dr. Malfitano, I was pleased with my first visit which was a consultation regarding an issue with Carpal Tunnel.

My second visit with Dr. Malfutano and very pleased every time! She’s very though and professional. My finger is now totally pain free! Also, no waiting time and convenient reminders about my scheduled visit.

Dr Malfitano takes time to understand your issue and even explain what the X-ray shows. She will explain the options available and make recommendations as to which ones are best for you at that time.

Dr. Malfitano Is an excellent physician who is very personable as well. Knew exactly what was wrong with my fingerand the course of action to correct it. This was my second visit to see her and she is my favorite doctor.
