Dissapointing
I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Dimatteo. After sustaining a wrist fracture, I underwent surgery with her. Prior to the procedure, I had normal sensation and no history of numbness. However, post-surgery, I experienced persistent swelling and numbness.When I raised these concerns, Dr. Dimatteo suggested waiting longer for improvement, but the issues persisted. A neurologist later diagnosed nerve damage, which Dr. Dimatteo attributed to a supposed long-term history of carpal tunnel syndrome—something I had never been diagnosed with before. I found this explanation dishonest and dismissive.Additionally, her visit notes contained inaccuracies, including details that were never discussed. Over a year later, I still deal with stiffness, pain, and unresolved complications from the surgery.
