Excellent, personable; easy to talk to. Explains everything thoroughly. He made an illness that was terrifying to me end up feeling like it wasn't that bad. There was nothing from my first appointment through to chemotherapy that was not tolerable. Now that treatment is behind me I am very comfortable and secure that I received the best care possible thanks to Dr Abushahin and staff.

Highly Recommended Dr Abushahin was a listen er
He made me feel at ease as well did his staff of nurse and others in his office. Although he first seemed unorthodox in his style of communication. It grew on me and I was able to communicate back with ease and in a comfortable manner. In my serious life threatening situation he made me laugh at times while at the same moments expressed the serious nature of my cancer. At times he called me a man of mystery in the location and types of cancer I have.

Dr. Abushahin was thoroughly familiar with my case -- an unusual one-- that had been transferred to him when Dr. Mennel retired. When I say thoroughly, that is the exact adjective to use! I was impressed with his knowledge and I was grateful for his suggestions on how I should proceed at this point, 18 years after treatment successfully ended. I am eternally grateful to Texas Oncology. Thank you immensely.
